Margaritamama
Very frustrating weekend......I used the same batch of 1274, 3tbsp pp Stearic for all three of these candles. Only difference was the dye, and FO (1oz per pound). The first, Cranberry Marmalade, mottled great! The second, Frankincense & Myrhh, mottled only very slightly. The third, Honey, did not mottle at all......Go figure?!?!?
cybersix
Sorry for invisible mottling!! But they are beautiful anyway!Kisses

chris77
They all turned out nice. I like the cranberry marmalade and the honey as well.
topofmurrayhill
Probably too much stearic. You need a slightly high amount for rustics but less for mottles.
TerriWV
All are nice, but I love that Cranberry, would go good in my living room.
tucker
They all look great but definitely the red is the best. I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at any of them and they are presented quite nicely.
Donita
I agree with Tucker...you made a very nice display....looks very festive. I have been making green, red and gold too. Even tho the gold didn't mottle, it looks nice. If you don't tell anyone, they won't know it wasn't what you were going after......Shhhhhhhhh Donita

Mozzie
They all look really pretty even if not what you were going for. Isn't candlemaking fascinating (and frustrating)? I agree with Donita, if you don't tell noone will know.:rolleyes2
cindym
The honey that didn't mottle at all looks just like a beautiful beeswax candle i love it. Cranberry Marmalade sounds wonderful, where did you get it.
