number2of7
We use Lilac from NG....was told from our wholesale vendor (who purchased several lilac soaps from multiple sellers) that ours was the truest lilac she had ever smelled. lsbennis
Thats 2 for Backwoods and 2 for MC...lol...I have not used any MC oils in the past but could always try some samples. I use several oils from BW so I know that I like their quality.
Candybee
I've only used BW's Lilac so I can't compare to others. But it smells just like my lilac bush and customers love it so thats good enough for me.

ChrisR
I've used Luscious Lilac from Genwax for years at 1/2 oz./lb in my wax. I've tested others, but haven't found any that come close to being as realistic. I always seem to smell some kind of after scent that's a little like plastic. It's one of my FO's that if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
melissaroth6868
We use Lilac from NG....was told from our wholesale vendor (who purchased several lilac soaps from multiple sellers) that ours was the truest lilac she had ever smelled.I thought it smelled good too....UNTIL I smelled it right next to WSP's. WSP's wins hands down!

doglover
For many years I used Lilac from Lebermuth. However, I recently tried the Lilac from TN Candle Supplies and found it was much better. I have a male customer who buys only Lilac....and he liked the Lebermuth scent, but loved the one from TN. HTH
lsbennis
I have a sample of Peaks's Lilac & MC's Lilac Breeze, so far just OOB Peak's smells more lilac-y to me, I'm also going to try BW as well before I make a decision. Thanks for the suggestions.
Scented
I have a lot of success with Peak's. I moved away from Peak's once and nobody touched a thing. Peak's has a good, strong scent in the applications I use it for and I won't drift them again.
Meridith
IMO it would be AH's "Hungarian Lilac" for wax. I find that most lilacs fade in soap though. Years ago BCN had a lilac on their closeout page that was hands down, by the far the best, most truest lilac I ever used. It was great in soap and wax. I wish they would have carried that one permanently. Lilacs bushes are very prominent where I live and I have a wall of them in my yard. I always look for a lilac scent that smells just like my lilacs do when in bloom. It is pure heaven when a breeze comes up and their scent wafts in the house through an open window.
