Connie
Did you add any vybar? Vybar will make 1343 whiter and more opaque. I still like it though.
cindym
I think it looks great.

Scented
Yes, i added 1/2 tsp. Thanks allDon't add it the next time and see if it comes out how you want it.
tlc26
You don't want to ad vybar to 1343. It will make it more opaque and harder to see through. When I use 1343 for over pours with chunks I only add fo. The scent retention is not as great as other waxes but if you put any addatives in there is will not be as transulcent. 1343 is just about the most translucent wax there is ( if there is another I have not discovered it)
Jean
Lisa! it`s really cute! Don`t be so hard on your self.. chunk candles never come out completely see thru.. that`s what makes these type of candles unique.. :highfive:

SatinDucky
I think it looks fine. If you're wanting the chunks to show more, try arranging them some when you put them in. Pushing the flat sides against the mold helps. Also, the smaller the chunks, the more they can be pressed against the mold.
Lisa
Satin, Yeah i think that might of been a issue too, as i used the cookier cutter ones. Thanks
candlesprite7
What i do when I want a certain shape to be seen better is pour about 1/8" layer of wax, let it cool for about 20 minutes (you still want the wax to be warm but able to hold shape when cut) use the cookie cutter to cut out the shape. Let it cool completely. break it away from the layer of wax. If wax mold is curved or round I lay the shape against the outside of the mold, use my heat gun to warm it until it hugs the shape of the mold. Then I insert it in the mold where I want it and hold it in place with chunks.Wow I hope that made sense! See attached picture. It looks cool.
