bigshoes213
I love Creme Brulee candles but I can not find a really good fo. My goal is to have a candle that smells like Mary's creme brulee candle from walmart. It is divine. One votive smells my entire house. I have tried Creme Brulee Fo from candlescience, lonestar and Peaks. Peaks is my favorite so far but it pales in comparison to Mary's candles. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks. RetroMetroChic
I haven't tried it but I have heard Starville soaps has the best Cream Brulee out there. One of these days I will order it myself :rolleyes2
crowcreek
I have used C&S's Creme Brulee for 10 yrs. It has just a touch of caramel, enough to make you drool, but the best part is that it's super strong.
candlelady
I switched to Starrville's Creme Brulee last year and just love it! My #2 best seller!Actually I use their Leather and Amber Romance and they are best sellers as well!HTHCarrie
southernstargirl
I have to agree on Starville's Cream Brulee as well. IMO it is hands down the best there is out there. I have tried just about all of them over the years from places like NG, BCS, BCN, JBN. I have to also tell ya that Starville has an awesome Butt Naked. There's is very different from everyone elses. Most I have tried is very good, but what ever it is that is different in Starvilles just makes it. Good luck on your search~
Candlebuddy
I love KY's Creme Brulee, it's awesome alone or as a mixer. My newest mix is 25% Almond (MC) & 75% Creme Brulee (KY) ... I named it "Italian Almond Cookie" ... it's flying off the shelf.
kitchenfairy
Just a note was curious about starville so tried their site and it's down right now. But there is a number posted if you need to order something.
nmhoneybear
I tried to go to their site the other day, too. Guess I will just have to wait til it is up and running again. Like I really need any more FO anyway. :tiptoe:Oh, and by the way, Creme Brule from Snowtop (ICS) is decadent, too. Super strong and yummy! ST's Creme Brulee could easily pass for Chocolate Chip Cookies
Candlebuddy
ST's didn't sell well for me either (I smell chocolate in it), so I thought about renaming it Chocolate Chip Cookie, and now it's starting to sell. Banana might be a good oil to add to it; KY has a good Creamy Banana.
waxwench
A supplier rarely talked about but Tri-States CB is the almighty bomb of bombs!!! Absolutely delicious & devine!
Maven Phillips
I know I am going to get people angry with me, but I can't help but state how frustrating it is to try to find some of these suppliers when you guys post such little information and use abbreviations.Yes, I looked at the sticky thread. I see nothing on there for "Starville Soaps," and Google turns up virtually nothing: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&newwindow=1&q=%22starville+soaps%22&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=Waxwench, "Tri-States CB" is also not in the sticky, and a Google search is fruitless: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&newwindow=1&q=%2B%22tri-states%22+cb+fragrance&aq=f&oq=&aqi=Could you guys please start posting links, or, if you are going to use abbreviations and no links, could you at least check to see that it's listed in the sticky? kitchenfairy
I tried the search without the ""s and this is what I found for starville soaps on google. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&newwindow=1&q=starville+soap&aq=0p&oq=sta&aqi=g:p3g7Also not sure if it's the one you meant, but I played around with the search for Tri-state, took out the CB and added fragrance oil and this is what I got. http://www.tristatecandlesupply.net/Hope it helps. :smiley2:

Donna-Do
I like At Wix End's Creme Brulee the best, with KY's coming in a close second. No chocolate in either of these.
Camay
Well, Maven, I don't think anyone is angry, but, come on! You've got to use your brain a bit! The topic of this thread is creme brulee fragrance FO. In the response:"A supplier rarely talked about but Tri-States CB is the almighty bomb of bombs!!! Absolutely delicious & devine!"it seems obvious that the "CB" stands for creme brulee, and is not part of the suppliers name. A quick search in google for "Tristate" and "candle" brings up their website as the top link. Likewise, if you search for "Starville" and "candle" in google, the first site that comes up is the correct one. (However, you can't get to their site because of "technical difficulties" right now.).That trick nearly always works - just type in google the name of the company or part of it, and the word candle. When I first got here I didn't know all the abbreviations either, and there's a lot of them! After a while you just figure it out - use the sticky and google. It's like any other craft/field/business. And it's not everyone else's fault that you can't figure the abbreviations out. Now I didn't mean to be rude, condescending, or yell at you. None of that. Just use your brain, and google, and I am sure you will catch on. It's not that hard, really. jennhalcyon
Maven,It's not what you asked for that would bother anyone, but rather how you asked for it. Yes, you are right that it is frustrating to see abbreviations. If you search for ST (snowtop, by the way, which is now sold at ICS - Indiana Candle Supply), you will get an error message. I doubt everyone that posts in the Fragrance section is going to put a web addy next to every fo they post or reply about. But if the name is spelled instead of abbreviated, you can find it with little or no trouble, so maybe we could try doing that more often.By the way, Tri-State is listed in the Sticky thread, on the second post where Sara added additional companies. Good luck,JennPS-If there is something you have a question about, you could always try PM'ing the OP (original poster) to ask them for more detailed information. Most on this board are GREAT about responding.
southernstargirl
I have talked to Tom over at Starville and they are taking call in orders, and he will email a scent list and prices to you if you email him from the email listed when you go to the site. They are trying very hard to accomodate everyone and what they want. I personally only use 3 of their oils, but IMO I can not find them anywhere else as good as theirs. So I am calling my order in. But still think that Starvilles CB is tha bomb!!!!!
