Have also found that on successive or marathon, they seem to end up with very similar melt pools, like the ones you've shown. Thanks for sharing all your work. I ask because I usually have an edge about that thick and I hug the candle as I test it so it consumes itself. But my sister, who burns a ton of my candles, doesn't hug them.
