Flat vs. Concave Mold Burn Testing

How super of you people to do this thread. Its very interesting. I've done the same thing in the past but haven't taken pictures. Have also found that on successive or marathon, they seem to end up with very similar melt pools, like the ones you've shown. Thanks for sharing all your work.

I'm curious - are you happy with how they look right now? I ask because I usually have an edge about that thick and I hug the candle as I test it so it consumes itself. But my sister, who burns a ton of my candles, doesn't hug them. The edges, or at leasat one side, ends up bending over as the candle melts down. So I'm wondering if I should actually wick up?
