How the heck can UPS run out of trucks!!! Guess they will raise our shipping prices again to cover the rental costs...LOLI can't stop laughing at UPS delivering in a Budget Truck!!! My SIL owns a Budget dealership and every December, UPS rents a $hit load of trucks to help with holiday packages. Their delivery volume increases tremendously and they need more drivers/trucks to handle it. If it wasnt me recosnized the guy i wouldnt have gave it to him. Then there was the time Fedex ran out of gas in pur parking lot! Course I had someone from fedex come pickup in their pickup truck! I thought it was so funny too. My co-workers and I were laughing. We thought maybe his UPS truck broke down or something but then we saw him the next day and the day after that with his Budget Truck. I saw him last night after 9 delivering. I have seen DHL (not holidays) out till 7 or 8. They do have long hours at times. I have felt really guilty about it lately, though. I think he's come by the house at least one day every week for the past 2 months.... if not more. On normal days he delivers like 150 packages. Friday he had 305 stops. He worked from 3 a.m. until 8:30 last night. I couldn't believe it. Talk about overtime!
