I thought that was what it was.Some scents mixed but years ago Candles and Supplies had it.Still had the bottle and my husband went out to the candle shack and made sure.Never saw it before in all the years and wondered about it. I buy from the Candlemaker Store and they have about everything.But never found this scent. Thank You LynnS

I'm looking for Candle Shop.Have for days.Doesn't seem to be one that is sold alot9not on sites I find).It's for a customer.Had the scent years ago but can't find it now. With our years of candlemaking I've liked all the scents but Leather and Clove.They make me sick. I wouldn't even try another companies.I stay completely away from these 2. There's a few more but would have to go through my scents and that would take awhile. Lynn Smith

Looking for Candle Shop Scent.I had it years ago.Found some old but want to refresh.It was from Candles and Supplies but I didn't see it on their site now. I think the problem was it was to strong and the scent.One of those that are just overpowering.Usually things don't bother my husband.A big smoker but he sure was choking and gagging when he came out.I guess we should just ask them what scent but IMO businesses should be more careful on what they do.With all the customers there's bound to be a few or maybe more that have problems breathing or allergies.Just my thoughts. Karen not only alot better but alot cheaper.Scentsy is high on what they sell. My husband went into a couple buskinesses that were burning scentsy melts(tarts).He actually came out ill.He makes our stuff since I was dx with BC but he got so sick from the scents these businesses had. I walked in one place with him.Got in the door and went back out. He knew what was the matter but he stayed and took the smell but not before coming out sick.I was surprised he didn't get sick inside .Those places have lost our business. LynnS

I order from NG.I get some scents from them and glad they have it.I don't like ordering from so many different places but this was a request and she did mention Scentsy.I'm sure it's one they have and she can get it cheaper from me. Thank You for the info.I looked online with a company I buy alot from and didn't find it but never thought about NG. This helps me alot. LynnS

Anyone heard of Shelock Holmes Fragrance??? I got a request but never heard of it.I just wonder if one certain company makes it and hard to find. Or it's a mix of more than one scent put together???? Thank You LynnS

My friend left facebook because She's leaving Animal Rescue to pursue something else.The rescue of animals etc can be time consuming, upsetting, and a burn out when you think you get all in a home/rescue and then there's more and more.We were volunteers and we were dedicated at what we did.We believed "Till They ALL Find A Home" LynnS

I understand this but sometimes I think they're being smart alecs(sp). Think they are cute.I don't get this usually but mostly what people want are tarts and candles and cheap burners.Not the real nice decorative ones unless you mark them down. I've had mine for sometime and going to sell them for just a bit more than what I paid a few years ago.At my next show if I ever decide to do another.Or else have a sale in my yard during craft season.I'm on a State Rt. Wondering how it's done when you befriend someone on facebook.The reason I asked is today it popped up on my facebook so and so is gone.Is this the way they befriend us???All new to me since it's never happened before. LynnS

I sent you a private message.Didn't read through all of this but think it ashame.Just politely get the product and leave.No questions asked.IMO someone like that doesn't care and you should be the same way even if it hurts. Making candles is messy,lots of work,time consuming and downright hard to get a good product.I guess she'd been working on it. LynnS

I am ready to ask someone to take my website pics off her site.She did it without asking.Had a company to do the site and they should see it's my pics even with my name.Should they be taken off ASAP.Or should I give her sometime to do it.Or just forget it and take other action.What can/should I do??? The one I know didn't steal my name but my pics on my website.She used the same ones and the problem is she doesn't buy from me.She did but not now. She has her company name and my pics have my name,At least one pic does. Nothing makes sense with this.

WOW not good.Wholesalere out of state will be paying more.We have a couple.One has been with us for almost 4 years.Just the other day I asked my husband what was the cost to ship with the large flat rate.It was over $15.00 and now next year will be over $16.Bummer but I guess we have to deal with it.No choice.Just hope we keep our wholesalers, LynnS

Our labels are on top.The round labels. I like them.I tried putting them on the jar but at shows they got dirty and messed up.I have a wholesaler in NC and I'm sure she has the same problem with them being handled and getting dirty.I guess it can be overlooked if they want them bad enough.To scrub or find something to take it off would be hard and very very time consuming. I use the 16 ounce Country Jar and I believe the size of my apothecary is 16 ounce.I double wick the apothecary and single wick the Country jar with a large wick size.I like these jars and no problem in wicking.Of course it took some testing but about all my scents I have work with the jars as far as no tunneling. For a smaller attractive jar I use the 9 ounce classic jar.In this area they dont sell but I still carry it.Then I use the basic 8 ounce JJ.That size is our seller. LynnS

We pick up jars locally.Recently my husband and I noticed a number on them.One company it's on the bottom side.The other company in the middle of the jar.BUT when we try to wash it off no way.It is alot of work to take every jar and do this.We have a few wholesale customers and I will tell them but not happy.We cant afford to have jars wax etc shipped.We must stay locally but timing to remove these numbers is crazy and not only that not attractive IMO.Do any of you have this with the numbers on the 8 ounce JJ.I haven't noticed on my other jars so far not but haven't ordered any for awhile. The companies we buy from are reputable and good to work with.They can't help the distributers changed where they put lot numbers. Any ideas how toi remove it without all the scrubbing and hassle or can we just leave it this way.I'm not really sure it will come off. it seemed pretty permanent to me. Thank You LynnS

I dont know what it is about Scentsy.My husband does the candlemaking.He went into a place that was burning a scentsy melt and came out coughing and choking.He doesn't know if it was the scent or just all tarts are that bad with them.We both went in to another place. I had to leave.To gaggy.He stayed and said it bothered him.Our PO burns them too but they toned it down a bit but the other place my husband doesn't think he will do business with them because of the terrible strong smelling Scentsy melts. When it's hard to breathe for some people just think what it can eventually do to others. I have a lady starting a craft shop and after talking to me she said she won't burn the candles or tarts because the effects they have on Some customers.She wants business.I never burned a candle or tart at craft shows and when people walked past my booth they said it smelled so good.Most stopped, brought candles and always came back. What I thought.She is doing the selling.Our name is on the candles.We decided not to wholesale but she will put them in her shop and gets a percentage of the sale.So no money unless she sells. I only sell to friends(although the candles usually are given to them). Also out of state people.Even our tax perparer said we don't make that much money and after 5 years its a hobby.This is what the lady who does our taxes said.She sees what we do.That was when we did craft shows.We did good but the work was to much hauling, setting up and taking down.Not counting what the weather might be. Not sure this will be a lasting thing.Usually opening up craft stores don't last long in this area. LynnS

Lots of time I use the padded envelopes and they work.That is for smaller orders.Don't break and only had one complaint.She gave me such a hard time I never replaced them.Why? because she said she would send back the damaged goods but never did.I had the email.She then changed her story. She threw some in the trash.So she wasn't being honest.I told her I would even pay for shipping but she never would make things right.IMO she used them and was not being truthful. She ever threatened to send me to the better business bureau.I didn't budge.I had her emails. I just mailed a large tart order.All arrived in good shape. I used the medium flat rate box. Stuffed with alot of newspaper and also put tarts in a bag for more protection.I guess my best insulation is newspaper which costs me nothing. LynnS

Do I need to charge sales tax to a lady who is putting my candles in her shop.I told her with her having a storefront she needs to charge tax but do I need to charge tax to her. I get so confused on all this.I don't make any money and cut back alot since a BC (cancer dx) but people want my candles. I don't get orders often and my website for out of state people is up but only get maybe 4 orders a year. Thank You LynnS

I have no problem shipping to certain areas.Candles tarts etc arrive fine.Like MO and North Carolina Fla. BUT if I mail to NY, ME, Ct, or Pa forget it. Something always breaks.Doesn't make sense to me.Something with these PO's????? Just puzzling. Do any of you have candles tarts etc break??? I really pack good and label Fragile everywhere on the box.And the post office Stamps Fragile. LynnS
