Lotions or Body Butter

If you could only have one, which would it be emulisified body butter or lotion?

I voted for lotion. I don't like having to stick my fingers in the body butter and it seems to take more time to rub in. I'd rather have a thicker lotion than the butter.

I'm voting for butter. I've always prefered body butters over lotions, even before I got into making B&B. I guess I just feel more luxorious or something when I use the butter.

I voted for butter as I need the extra moisture most of the time due to being a sun lover. It helps keep my skin moisturized and looking great. In the winter I tend to have very dry skin and it sure helps.

I voted emulsified butter because I love making them and using them also. They seem to sink into the skin better and are longer lasting on the skin.

Body Butter for me as well. I like the fact that a butter has less water and more nutritous oils. If I need water, I much prefer to drink it as opposed to wear it.

Lotion b/c it's penetrates quickly more conveinent to carry in a purse, leave at work, I love using so many different fragrances

Since it's either/or, I have to vote lotion, since it's more versatile for my needs (day, night, hands, bod, on-the-go, etc) but I really do prefer butter for legs & nighttime.

I voted Lotion....to me it is much more convienent. But I do use butter on my legs at night in the winter time because they dry out really bad.

well I couldnt vote because I like both! They both have their benefits for me. I use lotion during the day and at night I use the butter.

Lotions work better on my skin type for all over use. Butters work well on the elbows and heels but otherwise don't really like 'em.

I love my butter. It lasts alot longer after putting it on. Lotion seems to be a lit drying, for me anyway.

I went with lotion.. simply for convenience. In a hurry or after cleaning up I tend to reach for lotions.

Night is when I use butters on my legs & feet.

I voted Butter as well. While lotions are a bit more convenient, butters are more moisturizing and less "wet".

I'll go with the emulsified butter. I don't like straight whipped butters (imho pia to make, too greasy and mine always melt), lotions are ok, but my emulsified butter is soooooper thick, and I actually keep a jar of it in my car and it doesn't melt or separate in the heat.

I prefer butter. I keep a small tube of lotion in the car and that is the only time I use it.
