  1. Thanks again. Hope they work. I ordered these prior to asking on Craftserver. I'll research the web for the wick and sticker info you recommended.
  2. Thank you. I ordered these. Hopefully they'll be ok. Materials cotton, wax Dimensions Length: 4 Inches Description You will receive 25 of these 4" Waxed Cotton Core pre-tabbed Candle Wicks. These High-quality wicks are designed to be used with soy, gel or paraffin wax. Wick diameter: 2mm Sustain diameter: 14mm
  3. I want to replace wicks in store bought natural soy candles in tins. The wax has melted down but still can be salvaged. I believe the wicks used are cotton core. I'd appreciate any info regarding the wick size and type and the glue dots to use as well as where to purchase these items. Thank you!
  4. I am considering purchasing FOs from PureFragrance oils - West Coast. I'd appreciate recommendations for FOs for lotions, creams, not soap. TIA
  5. I am not familiar with this FO, but Pure Fragrance Oils (West Coast divsion of Southern Gardens) has it starting at 1.25 an ounce. http://purefragranceoils.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=78&products_id=205
  6. I use FCO or jojoba oil. FCO sinks in and is not oily. It also better for a spray IMO.
  7. If you convert to grams, it is much easier to calculate. Also if you make an even amount...200...400 grams it is also much easier to calculate and you won't have to deal with decimals.
  8. I have never used soap in a scrub, but I have seen scrubs made with a liquid soap base or M&P Soap. Sorry, I dont have the percentage Here is one made with soap http://www.tayloredconcepts.com/recipes.htm I believe The Sage may also have recipes using some sort of soap.
  9. I make an emulsifed scrub and use malibus. It stays a lotion consistency. This is for personal use, so I make it small quantities.
  10. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you can make a sugar or salt scrub, emulsified, just leave out the sugar or salt.
  11. Donna, Your cream looks luscious, just like whipped cream.
  12. Thanks for the info also. I never scrolled to the bottom either . Now I learned that plus TD info.
  13. I have never used lard. Cocoa butter for hardness, possibly. Castor oil for bubbles. Of course run thru soap calculator.
  14. Your soaps are absolutely delicious, beautiful
  15. Soaps are beautiful as well as the bath bombs. Good job!
