    I would like to use this wax for container candles *and* my tarts, what would be a good additive to make the wax a bit harder so I can use it in a tart mold? Sorry if this is a silly question. :tiptoe: Thanks, Sunni

    I have a slab of Harmony Blend and I was wondering how this would do for tarts or wickless tins? If it is too soft, what would be a good blending wax to harden it up a bit? I am a newbie so any info on this blend would be super. I am also looking at smaller containers and wicks for my first candles!

    Would prefer something simple, but I would really like something that will be moisturizing and is not to thin.

    I voted Butter as well. While lotions are a bit more convenient, butters are more moisturizing and less "wet".

    I recently smelled this pumpkin scent and it is a *perfect* mix of pumpkin and spice (at least to my nose). I don't need a dupe, but I would love to find something similar.

    Thanks! I am looking for a nice clean linen scent without a soapy or perfume smell. Sort of like sheets dried out on the clothesline.

    Do firestarters leave a lot of wax drippings on the bottom of your fireplace? I have always been afraid of trying these because I don't want a mess!

    I have noticed that most people tend to use soy or soy blends for tarts, is there a specific reason not to use paraffin in tarts? With tarts I am very concerned with hot throw and I have noticed that some of my scents just do not throw well in the soy blend I am using. I am looking at trying out Comfort Blend wax because of the ability to hold so much FO, or possibly even blending my own wax. Of course another advantage is using this blend as a good container wax! I would love advice or info from anyone that has used a paraffin blend for tarts!

    An interesting post for a newbie thinking of selling in the future. I am curious what would be correct to tell people if I am using a KY blend and I have no idea what percentages are in the wax? In either case... I feel that unless there is nothing but 100% soy with no additives it is a blend. I personally would call the parasoy, comfort blend, perfect blend, personal blend, etc a soy/paraffin blend. I could care less what someone else calls it. I agree about calling it parasoy... I could picture all kinds of questions! including "there is a NEW soy"? and "there are TWO soys"?

    Are they good quality? I am looking at the Goat's Milk and Honey Lotion, Whipped bath, and Shower gel concentrate. I will tweak them but I want to start with a good base. Are there better bases out there that you recommend?

    Do you mean adding (not pouring) the FO at higher temps? I was wondering this as well.

    I am thinking of making some wickless candles as gifts and I noticed that some people use tin containers instead of glass. I am very interested in this because a friend had a glass container "explode" on her. The question is would the tin container heat the wax too hot? If I use glass containers, what would you recommend as a safe 4-6oz glass container for using on electric plate style warmers. BTW I am using a soy blend. Thanks!
