southernscents
Do you package it in a 4oz or 8oz jar? I am looking at round ones either white frosted or clear. Not sure what to use.
foxhill
I package mine in 4 oz. white double wall jars, I like the double wall to help keep the butters from melting in warmer weather. I get my jars at www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com
mystical_angel1219
I use the 4 oz jar. The packaging would be a matter of personal preference. There are so many jars out there in the marketplace.
Linnyeg
I use a 4oz clear jar.
idahospud
I use a 4 oz. clear glass jar with a black lid, for all mine.
sudsnwicks
4 oz jar. A little goes a long way. 8 oz would be too big (and likely too spendy for the customer). I've seen it sold in even smaller quantities than 4 oz e.g. 2 oz.
KristinesShower
I make a shea butter sorbet that is more of a thick cream than a butter, but sell them in 2, 4 and 8oz jars. I would have to say that our 4oz is our top seller.
Guest EMercier
What is shea sorbet and how do you make it? Is it lighter? I looked at your website and it looks like a light cream.
KristinesShower
It's an emulsified cream that has shea butter and coconut oil in it. Surprisingly enough it isn't greasy - which I actually stumbled into than created lol - and it is like a thick rich lotion. We melt the oils and add our water and whip it to death - I mean for like an hour it gets whipped, but it is not fluffy. Does that make sense? lol It actually feels light on, but it is a heavy cream (as in weight)...now I really feel like I'm not making sense lol
ebcandles
I've only sold my soy body butter in an 8oz low profile jar. I've never had anyone ask for something smaller.

daniedb
Ditto Carmen - I sell mine for $19 in an 8 oz low profile jar. A little spendy, but not for the customer base I'm cultivating.
