7Angela7
Do you find they burn them in smaller spurts or let them burn all day?

MommaD
Most people I've ever known burn them for hours upon hours at a time.
sudsnwicks
I think many people are not following the instructions because they don't understand why they should be turning it off after every few hours. If they haven't done it the right way, they wouldn't know it's the better way. Does anyone ever explain to their customers the reasoning behind burning their candles in smaller spurts? I don't and wondered if maybe I should start doing so.
KristinesShower
Hi, I'm Jenny Hoehn and I too am a long burner.:tiptoe: I can't help it, I guess I am lazy lol I do educate my customers though as much as possible. I try to convince them that they will last ALOT longer if they burn them 4 hours at a time.
Guest EMercier
That's happened to me, I've had an individual burn a candle forever and wanted me to remelt it with a new wick. I was like NO! Then she got mad at me becuase I wouldn't, but she still buys from me. I had to let her know for the millionth time how to burn them. Fire and Ice
It depends on the age group. Seniors burn for less hour that youg to middle age who are known for marathon burn their candles. Most marathon burn though:shocked2:
Bev
Most people I know burn for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. I am as guilty as the next guy!!! I give everyone written instructions and also tell them how to burn them at the time I make a sale but I know they still marathon burn. deputy6512
I haven't run into anyone that burns 3-4 hours (including myself)! I have explained to customers that in order to get the optimum use out of the candle, it should only be burned 3-4 hours, but no one listens!! cindym
This is why I will burn a candle all day, to make sure it doesn't explode on me, it is part of my testing process.
