CareBear
OK, I make soap, so to me a sniffie or even a 1-ouncer is a waste and so I don't order many sampler sets (and thus miss out on the discounts). What (discounted/sets) sampler sizes would you like to see? Kelly
I vote 2oz, even in candles 1oz doesn't quite do it for me.
sugarysweet95
I lik 1 oz as then i can tell if i actually like the FO and try a couple of small candles with it. I'm quite picky with what i do and don't like, so it's annoying when you buy 2oz and then don't like the scent!!!I know you can sell them etc, but it's still a bit of a waste! Trish
I prefer one ounce as well. I don't do any b&b, or I'd probably like a bigger samples.
Sally
I prefer 2 oz as a rule, that way I can make at least a 3x3 pillar & couple of votives & have enough left for a small container. Get to test out all my waxes & get a pretty good idea of how well the fo's perform.Sally.
SpaceGirl
I agree w/2oz. I want to test out multiple containers / wicks in one round. I use 1oz FO for 15 oz finished candle wax and that just isn't enough for me!
prcandles
I think a 2 ounce would be better to test the different applications we all use. One ounce is ok for one thing, 4 ounces is too much if you don't like it. At least with 2 ounces you can make a few more things.IMHOPat
candlesprite7
I agree with the 2oz samplers... 1oz is only enough to make a couple small things, but if you have more than 2 waxes then you are SOL.
Late Night
I voted 2 oz. I used to think 1 oz. but when I saw how little 1 oz. is, I changed my mind.
Grumpy Girl
I need 2 oz. min. to soap with... so, it depends on whether or not I plan on putting it in wax. If I'm also going to wax it, I'll order 4oz. Most of the time it also depends on the supplier. If it's Peaks, I just buy a pound and to hell with it. Peaks rocks in any application. debscent
How about 2 ounce for 1 ounce price? Just kidding (well, not really). One ounce tells me if I like it in wax (scent only), but 2 ounces gives me a container & votives and maybe a wax melt. I don't bother getting samples of Peaks FOs at all. Minimum 8 ounces...Love practically everything, except the Hollyberry & Ivy--still dont' understand that one.
Meridith
I prefer 4 oz but only because I do soap, candles & B&B. At a very minimum, I would want 2 oz. But that's the very minimum. 1 OZ'ers for the most part just piss me off (unless they are freebies)- there's not enough to play with. Crowded House
I need at least 4oz to play with. If I don't like the scent by itself I like to try it with other scents to see what sort of a mixer it makes.Four oz bottles are usually such a ridiculous price, though. $7.50 or thereabouts for a 4oz "sample"? Bleah.
TexasBrat
1oz is great for me. I make a 2lb batch of soap and 1oz is just enough.
tlc
I like the 2oz idea for making containers. That way I would have enough to be able to wick up or down and get a pretty good idea of how it will burn and throw. 1oz just doesn't cut the mustard for me. Scented
I buy in pounds. Figure that gives me enough to screw up something, enough to get it right, enough to get some votives and some soap out of it and by then, enough time to know if I like it.
