Funky Monkey Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 Coconut 20%Lard 72%Olive 8%I had just a little bit of olive oil that I had poured out a day or so ago to make soap. Decided to try the cocoa powder and see what I got. Looks like poop. I'm not sure I used enough cocoa to matter (1 HEAPING Teaspoon to 2 cups of soap for swirl.)Anyway.. it looks kinda pretty!Ok.. here is the cut pic. anhoki Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 K...This was made on the 5th.AND.....What it looks like today....It's REALLY bright in the room where this soap is curing so that throws it off a little bit. If you look at the bottom row and look at the second and third bars (on the bottom edges) you can see it is darker just under the surface. I trimmed a little too much but it DOES show it is darker under there. I think I am going to leave them alone though...I kinda like the "texture" of these. 3 TBSPNS OF COCOA POWDER PER 32 OZ OF SOAP.YOURS are beautiful.
