Suggestions on this candle Updated Pic!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

Didn't know to post this here or business side so here it goes!

I am taking some pics of my new products as I am re vamping my website.

I am going prim, but with my pictures, I want it to be neutral just in case in the future I revamp the site again.

How does the picture look, okay to display on the website or not

Any advice is appreciated!

Thank You!

Stephanie

I think the pic is nice but IMO I think the ribbon should be tea dyed so it looks better with that color candle.

You could also take 2 picks one plain and one with the ribbon. Keep them in a file that way you have choices for whatever site you design.

Thank You everyone for your honest opinions!

I appreciate that!

:D

Now I do have to attend a funeral

Of the ribbon going to the trash that is!

~*laughing

And that is a great idea on taken 2 pics..one with and one without

I do know how to tea dye to make it prim looking for the one pics!

Once again!

Thank You!

Stephanie

I agree that the ribbon just does not go well with the candle. I would also suggest a white background. This will enable everyone to see the candle and the texture a little bit easier, without their eyes focusing on the background.

I agree with Aspencreek entirely. I've found (while trying to improve my own photographic skills) that putting the candle on a sheet of A3 white paper that's resting against a box or something so that the paper is both the base and the background gives a much better finish. Good luck.

All of you have been wonderful!

I knew my photo skills were next to nil and I find it really difficult for a good presentation of my product!

I appreciate all input that has been given.

I will post a pic later today and am thankful for all of the help!

Stephanie, that looks 100% better. However, I'm still finding a tiny bit of conflict between the texture of the candle and the texture of the wall behind it. Not sure if it would be better or not, but I'd try for a little more space around the candle too just to see how it compares. Good luck.
