jaylynne
What a wonderful tutorial. So glad I found this link. Have been on other links for quite sometime but many of the people on those links keep their secrets and don't share. This site and the people on it are so generous. Hope that at sometime I am able to add something of value.
Brenda
Brilliant! I'm a soaper, but your tutorial in addition to the fantastic finished hurricane is awesome! How generous of you to share your technique with others!
Mtngrl
actually I should write a craft book. I am just that insane....but you already know that......Donita:p Donita, you're not insane ... you are very gifted, and the fact that you so generously share with us your techniques, and that you go to all the trouble of putting together such clearly photograhed tutortials puts you in a class by yourself. While others freely share their info, and for them I am also grateful, you go above & beyond. I don't know what my thoughts are about heaven, but I picture you in a room of creative geniuses - Einsten, Mozart, Monet, Von Gogh (now HE was a bit nuts ... I think one would have to be to cut off their ear as a token of true love ... lol) etc. Should you ever put together a book, you let me know ... I'd be very happy to buy it, esp it it has lots & lots of color photographs. And now I'm going to pourette to see what other new 'cane molds they might have ... never seen the heart one before. Donita, did you have P'ette make the heart 'cane modd? I'm not seeing one on their site.
Shannon WY
Like everyone else, I thank you for sharing your techniques. You make the most beautiful candles and hurricanes:)

geekrunner
Did your better half help you with the pics? He is one lucky guy to have a creative and resourceful wife like you. The slideshow was fun and even had some tips I didn't think of when I made my first few canes. You do rock the cane world! geek
Donita
Mtngrl.....when you call Pourette always ask for Jeff. Tell him you know me.....now he might hang up at that point.....buy then again he might be curious....LOL....Pourette has the capability to make a lot of molds that don't show in the catalog. I happen to have some of their old catalogs. Jeff can tell you what is available. Also, I have some made for me. There are pattern numbers for them. Ask Jeff. He can use my patterns for any of you. I always liked the other people at Pourette, but somehow I ended up talking to Jeff for that last 10 years. He has been very helpful. He makes and sells candles. So does his brother. Hope this helps..... Donita
