Trappeur
I believe I have seen posts of people blending 464 and 4630 which I'm thinking I'm going to experiment with. I've never done any blend b/4 so this will be a first. For the ones that do blend I see where they do it at 50/50. Do you see a difference in better scent throw I'm asking? Do you have to wick up adding the 4630? I use cd wicks so I'm going to try with them. If I did 70%464 and 30% 4630, do you think I would see a difference in any scent throw? Thanks. moonshine
Based off what I did with 415 at the 70/30 ratio your going to try it made a big difference in throw for me but I have to revisit it as I used a hard to burn oil and my wicking was off
Jeana
Which wax is supposed to be improving the throw?
Trappeur
The 4630 is supposed to help out because it is a paraffin. Trappeur
gls
Any suggestions on which type of wicks to start with?
Sarah S
I've had great success with HTPs. However, my blend is 90% CBL125, which is similar to 4630, and 10% 464, so there's hardly any soy in there at all.
