The Halloween Season is Here!

@jfear Hey there.... if you aren't comfortable answer, no biggy... but was just curious what wax you were using for your skull stand alone wax melts.

Initially I was thinking like a 4625 be default... but now I am thinking a soy pillar blend.  Anyway, I was wondering your thoughts on your favorite wax for standalone melts

SPOOKTACULAR! Love your jars, labels, and candle names. Very creative! You really rock this time of year! Do you do witches brew by the way? I used to sell a lot of that and dragon's blood this time of year. Also, CS christmas hearth has been selling like crazy for me. I think because I renamed it Autumn Bonfire. People pick it up out of curiousity because of the fall name and end up buying it when they smell it.

Hey there!

I use 4786 for everything and I blend depending on what I am making. For melts I use 4786 and 4625, 80/20. I add the 4625 for rigidity; 4786 is a bit too soft to use as a standalone for melts.

I couldn't do my craft without 4786, it is so creamy and opaque and it has a killer throw!

Aww, thank you Candybee!

I really love Witches Brew, I want to use it in some tureen jars that I painted black to look like cauldrons. I just haven't had the time to test yet! But Halloween is year round for me so maybe over the Winter I'll test.

I've gotta try that Christmas Hearth, I always love your suggestions!
