paintednightsky
I tried NG's Rosemary Mint. It is nice and sweet, but not quite strong enough. I was thinking of trying BW or JS. JS has 2 different Rosemary Mint's. Not sure the difference. Any thoughts? I think this scent would be nice for spring

justajesuschick
I am taking notes. I tried RE/AH Rosemary Mint and it was like Mint Mint in my wax. The Rosemary was missing. I want Rosemary Mint, not Minted Rosemary. Was think I might have to blend my own to get what I want. Perhaps not with these suggestions. Thanks! Scented
Well I would go with BW. I haven't tried either, but in other scents, I have had better success with BW. Just need to run out of a few more scents from there so I can load up again.
paintednightsky
The $5 for an oz from Sweet Cakes makes me I have been meaning to try BW for awhile though...
marcuset
The $5 for an oz from Sweet Cakes makes me I have been meaning to try BW for awhile though... I understand. From personal experience, I will say they are worth every penny. Speaking as a true Foho, I may have to try BW myself down the road. ubure
I can only recommend a quite pure rosmary, Herbal rosmary from CC. This is super strong and very authentic and you could mix some mint in it if you have one. Just a thought. Luci
Thanks for the heads up on Backwoods. I haven't ordered from them for a while, so now it's time. I've never been disappointed with anything from them, and I want to replace AH Rosemary Mint for my cp.
paintednightsky
I did get the BW today. Unfortunately, it was more on the minty side. Was looking for more of an herbal scent similar to NG but stronger. I think I'll hit up JS in the future since they have 2 types of Rosemary Mint. Scented
Did you judge from the bottle? It might change in a little bit of wax, but also Rosemary EO is pretty inexpensive, you might add a little to it to get more herbal.
kandlekrazy
Mix yourself, small amounts and use q-tip test and when it gets close then try in wax. The ones I've tried are more minty and I think it'sbecause Rosemary can be overpowering so they use very sparingly. I like more Rosemary so now mix my own. Scented
I find mints to be overpowering. I'll have to give this a whirl and see which beats which.
kandlekrazy
I should have specified that I use spearmint and not peppermint. It's much milder in scent and I like the sweet balance with the rosemary.
Scented
Will have to give it a whirl. I'm not a huge spearmint fan, but I can't say I am with peppermint and cornmint either lol. Those last two just seem to really overpower anything else.
ktaggard
I know this is an old thread, but had to mention that Rosemary Mint from Soapalooza is awesome. Very Herbal with a touch of mint. Also, lasts for days in my tarts. Haven't cp'd it yet, but will soon.
Candybee
I only do rosemary mint in my CP and just use rosemary and spearmint EOs. That way I can blend them to my preference. The EOs smell awesome in CP. Have not tried them in wax.
Guest OldGlory
I was in the Aztec showroom 2 days ago and they have a new Rosemary Mint. I have been buying soap from someone on the board and it smells exactly like her Rosemary Mint soap. Their FO's are using in the $16-$18 per lb range but it's on sale for $10 / lb right now.I haven't soaped it.
