craftimade
I will post another photo soon with a burning jar. Also im thinking because it's so large I might use 2 smaller wicks.

craftimade
Here is the final product with label and all. I sold 6 of them to a local shop and I have orders for 15 more from a few other shops and friends. Also white jars the same size.
Lorelei
Those are really nice, I really would love to see them with black glass lids though!
craftimade
Lorelei, Me too. I did ask but they said they only had clear lids. Otherwise I could buy wood lids separate. But don't think dark wood and shiny black go together.
Candybee
I guess its just me but I don't see the point. The jars are too dark. I like my candles to burn bright and create ambiance.
cynthia3030
I like these containers. I bet a silver or metal lid would be pretty for those that don't care for the clear tops.Another benefit is the soot factor. The soot that accumuates on containers when burning most paraffin waxes shouldn't be as obvious. Of course with soy candles soot is not an issue. craftimade
I also got the white version today. Looks just as good.
kandlekrazy
I like the black, especially for "manly" scents. What is the diameter of the jar? I've seen round silver lids at Gen Wax think they are 3 1/8 or 3 1/4...can't remember which.
