Gypsyjen
Those look awesome Brenda!! Very different. I'd try to make an Oreo cookie soap next! I bet it would be a big hit with a cookie FO!

Brenda
Gee, thanks everyone for your nice comments! It's exciting! Gypsyjen - I had considered an oreo cookie type layered soap, but don't have a cookie FO now. Most of the local ladies who buy from me prefer citrus, or spicy scents instead of food scents (I can't understand why 'cause I love them). It is something I'd like to try! I do have a rosemary mint EO blend that I'm itching to try. Maybe something in green and white for next time....But I have to wait until the weekend instead of trying it at night after work. Too dragged out after teaching all day and it takes three hours to get through the whole process.
fabulousfunfur
BrendaTry something for Valentine's Day perhaps with the layered effect. Cinnamon FO. (smells like cinnamon hearts) red/white/red OR red/white/pinkmaybe with the white layer with little flecks of something pink or red? Just a thought............ Brenda
Thanks for the kind words! Today I made a CPOP Rosemary Mint layered soap. It's in the oven now doing its thing. If it turns out well, I'll post pics once it's cut. There's nothing much to see until it's cut. One thing I REALLY like about doing the layered soaps is the small size of the batches. What a relief to use a 3 quart sauce pan instead of my big stainless pot! Everything is easier to handle (I have a touch of arthritis in my hands) and clean up!
