Tart or melts current day prices please?

Could anyone share what they charge now a days for tarts that are round and fluted on the edges? It has been a long time since I have sold any and an old customer wants some?

$ for 1 tart?

$ for 6 tarts?

$ for 12 tarts?

Please any imput is and would be appreciated.

I charge $1.75 for 1 tart or 6 for $10.00

I use soy and charge 2.00 per tart or 10 for $15.00

I think I've been cheating myself because I've only been charging $1.00 per tart. When I was doing them in the cups I was charging $1.50 and they were 2 ounce cups.

Me too!!!! I charge 3 for $3.75. The same as clamshells. They both are almost 3 oz.

I think to get a true reading on what your price should be you need to find out how much it cost for you to make 1 tart. It does help to see what others are charging too but then you need to find your costs as well. HTH :-)

I wholesale melt clams (just under 3 oz) for $1.75 and that is double my cost. That also includes a black ink only label. 6006 wax, 6% FO load. I have nothing shipped - I can pick up all of my supplies locally so my costs are as low as I can get them. My client charges $3.50 each.

Thanks everyone for the replies on the tart prices. My thoughts on prices were not to far off. Its been a while since I have had to buy wax and I know it will be higher than the last time I bought some. Hence the reason for my question.
