  1. Angela, I've got both the Body Glaze and Soy Body Butter from KY and love them! The butter is VERY thick and absorbs well. DH works outside and his hands are always cracked and bleeding--I think he has used a whole gallon himself! I also use it on my DD for her excema, and it helps almost as much as her prescription. The glaze is good also, but not nearly as thick--almost reminds me of a whipped gel in consistancy but is not sticky. Goes on very cool and feels very soothing. I've also mixed them, and that is good too! Tammy
  2. Very pretty! My fav is the blues with green a close second:yay: Tammy
  3. For them to burn correctly you really need to put them in a tight fitting container! Try that and see what happens!
  4. My favorite colors and one of my favorite scents!:laugh2:Very nice!
  5. Thanks for all the compliments! You're making me blush! lol This pillar stuff is addicting! Tammy:cool2: Edited to say-Thanks to eugenia for the instructions!
  6. Nice job! I'm getting ready to pour that scent today too!
  7. How are they supposed to burn. They are 3" in diameter. I burned one for about 3 hours and it left a wall of about 1/4" or a little more. Had a nice flame and good throw too. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Thanks! Tammy
  8. Actually it's some paraffin that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, mp 135. I was going to order some 1343, but couldn't wait for my order to come in to give it a try. Since HL had 1/2 off sale I got slabs for $5.00!
  9. The scent is Moonflower from Lonestar. It's pretty strong, but kind of perfumey. But I've smelled worse! Actually I've had it in sample size for some time, but wasn't too fond of it, so I thought I use it since I was just trying pillars out, so not to waste any of my favorites:cheesy2: !
  10. some of Tennesse's Warm Orange Gingerbread...talk about some strong stuff! Smells wonderful!
  11. At least I hope that worked! Anyway, this is my first attempt at a pillar, rustic or otherwise. I think it has too much frost! What do you all think? I swear it took me all day to pour that one candle! But I think I like doing these more than containers. Now to check burn! Thanks for looking!
  12. but when I tried to upload I was told that my file was to large. Anyone know what to do to fix that? Thanks, Tamilea
  13. The same for me, except I usually use HTP 41 in mine and they do pretty well!
  14. What kind of scent load will this stuff hold? The 1343A, I mean. Usually, that is....I know fo's are different and such! I can't wait to try these...I think I'm burned out on containers and want to try something else. Thanks for all the suggestions! Tamilea
  15. and now that I've looked at all the pics I definately want to try some rustic ones! Up til now I've only done jars, votives and tarts. I've read good things about the 1343A and thought I'd try that first. Now, can someone explain to me how to get the rustic effect? Pretty Please!:rolleyes2 This is my first time posting here, but I've lurked and there seems to be alot of good info and nice people here! Thanks! Tamilea
