  1. I will definitely check them out!I will definitely check them out!
  2. That sounds interesting. I love Champaka. I really love most incense type fragrances. I have never used any of Nature’s Gardens oils. Are they generally good hot throwers in parasoy?
  3. Sooooo.... finally have a second to post LOL. I really like all of th scents OOB. So I have tried 4 of the fragrances in Parasoy. I can definitely see that I will need to wick up with these oils. The ones I have tried are The Vert, Cherry Tobacco, Sandalwood Rose, and Patchouli Saffron. The Vert - I love this fragrance but the hot throw is very weak. It really reminds me of the one Daystar carries but much lighter throw. Cherry Tobacco - it has a decent hot throw but I don’t smell much Tobacco, just cherry Sandalwood Rose - I love Sandalwood Rose! This one has a strong throw, but it’s almost sickening. I really wanted to like it. Patchouli Saffron - Nice scent but too light. I will post more as I try the others.
  4. Yeah that one caught my attention. I spend a lot of time in Southeast Asia and usually Saffron remind me of there.
  5. I know what you mean about being sold out. A few of the ones I wanted to try were sold out. These are the ones that I ordered: Black fig and Honey Cardamom Cedar blossom cedar leather cherry tobacco Egyptian dragon fern and Champaca lily-of-the-valley Patchouli saffron sandalwood and amber sandalwood rose The Vert I am excited to get them and give them a sniff. Now let’s see how long it takes me to get them into wax LOL
  6. That’s interesting. I may be down to give them a try. I love the smell of jasmine but some of the oils can be just awful. One of your Previous posts inspired me to place an order with Bulk Apothecary. Based on your post it seems like we have very similar tastes in fragrance. I’m looking forward to receiving my order LOL
  7. I’m not huge on florals, but I would love to add either Jasmine, Neroli, or even Champaca to my line. I’m really looking for a deep musky high end smelling Jasmine. A lot of the jasmines I find smell very synthetic and not very appealing. If you have ever smelled this incense you will have an idea of what I mean by musky. In Neroli, I’m looking for something that smells natural. Most of the ones that I have found are very synthetic smelling. I have never really found one That smells natural. Any suggestions would be great!
  8. I have been considering it. It’s not all that of a fragrance, childhood memories I guess.
  9. I would be in trouble lol. General Wax is about 10 minutes from me but I’m not a fan of their oils unfortunately.
  10. I know that can be difficult Belinda. I would definitely give her another try. I really did love her Green Tea dupe.
  11. So many suggestions! Looks like I’m going to be busy (and broke lol). I’m really looking forward to putting together a lineup of at least 10 solid fragrances before I try to start selling outside friends, coworkers, and family. Right now doing the holiday thing (aren’t we all), but after the holidays gonna really focus on finding some core fragrances. I am really trying to go with fragrances like the Feng Shui Elements, patchouli blends, vanillas, sandalwoods, and other earthy type blends. I also love scents like Bergamot and Tobacco or Green Tea for example. I have designed my logo already, now just gotta find the scents I like.
  12. Thank you for the suggestions! I have never tried Candle Cocoon. RE has given me mixed results but have overall been pretty good. Daystar I have mixed feelings about. I have for the most part loved her oils but communication has been challenging. The other issue I have had is that most of the scents I used to love from there have been discontinued. 😔
  13. When general wax discontinued it a few years back, I just happened to be in there and catch this last bottle. I have always loved their Bayberry. I make one candle for myself each year so I can savor it. LOL I live close to the store and of asked many times if they plan to restock it And they don’t seem too motivated to bring it back into their inventory.
  14. I have not tried NG yet, but have read many good reviews. 😊
  15. So, A friend of mine recently gave me a candle that she picked up on a recent trip to New Orleans. Right away I thought that the packaging was way over-the-top but I said let me see what is inside. The candle had a very strong cold throw. It kind of reminded me of Jasmine. I lit the candle and within 45 minutes I could smell it in every room in my apartment. It was almost like I was burning incense. I was pretty impressed. I have been making candles for about 10 years. I have used straight paraffin, so it blended, and straight story. I have never been able to get a strong cold throw from any of them. Right now I’m using Clarus Stasis 3022 70/30 soy blend wax. Are use 1 ounce per pound of fragrance oil. I am using a 93 HTP work. Are used fragrances from Peak, Flaming Candle, SOS, Candle Science, and Southwest Candle. I just started using flaming candle and so far have been very pleased with their fragrance oil’s. I get a really good cold and hot throw with their Mulled Cider and Chestnuts. For the most part most of my candles tonight have a very strong cold sent through. Have you noticed any particular suppliers that give you an awesome Cold and Hot scent throw? I have been selling to coworkers and friends for the last five years or so, but I’m looking to start selling online. I really want to make strong scented candles with both a strong cold and hot scent throw.
  16. Over the past 3 years I have sent her three emails on separate occasions. I have never received a response from her via email or on Facebook.
  17. Bumping....anyone on the possible supplier for Golden Coast Scent by PF Candle
  18. PF's T & T is from Candle Science I believe. It's Caribbean Teakwood. A few of their best sellers are from CS as well. If you read the descriptions on their site you can match up the scent on CS website. I went to their retail store in East LA the other day and it is definitely Caribbean Teakwood from Candle Science. Does anybody know where they get the sent they call Golden Coast? I tried the incense and love it. It's a very familiar scent but I can't put my finger on it.
  19. It does look tapered in this photo but it's not it's straight up and down it must be the angle
  20. Thank you! That makes sense I took the pictures with my iPhone I will definitely try that next time.
  21. It must just be the picture because it is definitely not tapered it straight up and down. The HTP wicks worked with the blended wax but I guess maybe trying another WIC might be the next step.It must just be the picture because it is definitely not tapered it straight up and down.
