    Hi all, I have been making candles for 5 yrs now and would like to start doing it to generate some income. I have looked into insurance and recently went to SCORE which is an organization advising how to start up, They have told me that i need a business plan. Those of you who sell did you have to do that? How was it starting for you? I am looking to sell on occassions like holidays. Any Advice would be appriciated. Thanks everyone.

    Hi all hope you summer is going great. looking to start making Christmas gifts Has anyone tried the "Hybrid wax" fron candlessandsupplies? Did you like it? Does it hold more fragrance. Would love to try it. What do you think?

    Hi iike the idea of using tins for candles and have beed thinking of trying them myself, my only concern is that the tin getting hot. how hot does it get?

    Hi fellow Chandlers, I made this 16 oz keepsake jar candle sometime in August. Use 444 soy wax, 7% oil, and 1 dye chip for the middle layer and Cd 16 wick. Decided to burn it today 11/13/12 here is a picture after 41/2 hours burn. The flame danced a bit, any opinion on the burn? Thanks.

    hi all Someone has asked me to make them some soy candle I make the 16 oz keepsake jars I fill them up with 12oz wax it cost me $5.71 to make one jar, I want to charge between $12 - $15 is that too much? Here is what my Keepsake jar looks like.

    I have never used starburst. I used the feather palm wax. with 1oz oil pp and CD12 wick . That works great for me.
