I'm using peak's beach daisies, to me it' summer scent. I renamed it to Mediterraneo for my italian customers. To me it screams summer.

I still have a sample left.. lovely scent!!!!

Hi everyone, hubby will be in Connecticut next week, (he's leaving tomorrow from Italy) so I'd like to buy some wicks I need. I'm planning to have those shipped to the hotel he will stay in. So I need one good supplier near there to cut on shipping. I need CD wicks, woowd wicks, wick tabs.. Any suggestion? TIA!

I'm using peak's hot chocolate. I love it, I don't use the same wax you use so I can't tell if it will be ok for you, but if you haven't tried it yet try to get a sample. I also have CS chocolate but it has a strange burnt smell when it's hot.

Hi all, I'm liking this ideas of wax bowls candles, so here are others testers. The one with the heart embed is hubby's idea and he actually made it, scented Lovespell, the other one is my idea of a coconut. It's scented coconut milk.. what else! What do you think?

I don't think I ever seen one in the 70's.. maybe I saw something here on the old board! Were those the one you pour in a container filled with sand?

Thanks everyone, I like the idea too. The lighter outside will glow more, I have to do a test burn. Shell is made with a 5" saturn mold. I'll start the test.

Registered it without dash. I got the .it domain, the .com is available and every extension costs the same (10 euros) so I'm thinking to get the .com too. I didn't know about this auto-redirect in browsers!

Hi everyone, I'm thinking to register a domain name since I'm back in the candlemaking business. I want to keep it short and clear. I found the italian version of scented candles is available. It's candele-profumate.it. But, the too similar candeleprofumate (without dash) is already registered. I don't want someone going to the other site for mistake.. there is also candle scents, candeleprofumi.it, and the version with dash between the two words is not registered yet too. I'm thinking about letting go the name of the business from the domain name because it would come out too long. What do you think about it? I'm tempted to register candeleprofumi and candele-profumi, that is the "slogan" of my business since I don' make only candles. Any thought? Thanks!

Hi all, this is an experiment I wanted to try. I made a shell with palm wax, and filled it with soy. I'm not really satisfied, things can be improved a lot I also died soy for the first time and maybe the last, I immediately realized why the most of you don't dye soy. What do you think? I was thinking about doing outer shell in a color let's say brown, the inner in a lighter shade.. but now I don't know. I hate that frosting and that top so blurry.:tiptoe:

Hi all, I have some friends who plays in a kiss tribute band called "Delilah". One of them asked me to make a forever pillar for each member of the band. Problem is, he wants black candles, and the logo is almost black. Printing on transparency decal paper colors are transparent too. I thought I could use the white decal paper but then I'd have to cut every single letter. Or make a background, but in that way all the good of the technique would be lost. I'm posting some pics. I'll be glad to hear what everyone thinks about it. Thanks for looking!
