  1. I'm starting to like them more and more. Especially their newer scents OOB - some will up and vanish once in wax but most are as good OOB or better once waxed. I'd be interested in hearing how they work for you. It's hit or miss like all suppliers. I still have to order in Extreme or Ultra Concetration. SOS concentration is crap for the most part! UPDATE ~ A scent that's finally available to us... If you do order from SOS don't checkout without first adding ISO E super to your cart! THIS scent is the best fragrance fixative and blender available! Chances are good that most any PERFUME currently on the market has this aroma chem in it! It's a god amongst men in terms of awesomeness and sweet staying power. The fact that it's now made available as an FO is nothing short of a miracle! Get it! No joke. It's like liquid crack!
  2. The Yankme scent First Down in their defunct mancandles line is a blend of leather, fresh cut grass and rosewood. Don't know the mixing ratio...but I assume the leather and rosewood are the most dominate; at least that's what I smell. Can't get much more football-themed than that!
  3. I use Lebermuth or MMS. and some EOs from local health foods store.
  4. In a blender or food processor combine in equal amounts dark-roast coffee beans and horseradish root. Blend, then sniff. Store in fridge. Keeps for a month. Clears me right up when coffee beans alone aren't strong enough. (DO NOT get this mixture near your eyes) Just thought I'd share LOL. *Haven't tried it as a "compressed" essential oil but sniffing an "oil" vs a pulpy fibrous mash would probably be a better option.
  5. BlackBerry Blues Blackberry Bossa Nova Blackberry Muse!?
  6. No dash. Please! As a web developer, this notion makes me cringe. Also, stick with a .com if you can. It will cost a little more but is more than worth it as browsers today auto-redirect to .coms by default. Just my opinion.
  7. I'm not a fan of their bacon or beer. SOS has a great bacon, but Im still on the hunt for a truer skunkier draft beer. I usually don't go for the novelty scents unless they are supposed to emulate a true smell. Bunny Burps is too subjective. But If I had to guess I'd say it's a carrot cake type smell with a little grass herbal thrown in for good measure.
  8. SOS has an Ambrosia Salad. Haven't tried it. Sounds intensely fruity. Candy-like. I've honestly never heard of Ambrosia before.
  9. Almond and Cherry are very similar in their scent profile and can be used interchangeable in certain FO blends. Almond has a slight wood note, but it's mostly indistinguishable from Cherry.
  10. What wax did you use? I haven't tried either of those, but the Mandarin Peach sounds pretty good. I guess they all can't be winners.
  11. You won't be disappointed. Fillmore's oils are really good. Haven't tested Mountain Leaves yet. Anyone try it?
  12. Bummer! I haven't either. This might be a reason why they're discontinuing their oils...LOL. Sounds like that have..er. had a good selection of fragrances.
  13. In general, Great Especially the nature type scents. They're all very good. And Irish Moss is a winner for sure!
  14. As basic as that sounds, it's probably really good. A sweet floral chocolate. I'd buy it! Don't Worry Be Happy .17 banana .33 coconut .17 rum spice .33 mango Next: Typhoon
  15. Those are the notes. The one from CC must be an original scent also named Serendipity. The Cherry, Vanilla, Coconut scent isn't a new one. JS's Seredipity has been around for a good 8 years. I assume this is the scent everyone is interested in, though if it is CC's version (which sounds completely different) than I wonder how CC can keep their trandmark rights. But I fail to see how this name can be trademarked anyway. I'll have to try CC to see how it smells before offering a scent blend.
  16. You're welcome. Hope it works out for you.
  17. UPDATE~ Wellington's Cherry Coloda might also be a good starting point if it's not already a good dupe.
  18. Candle Science has a good Coconut for soy. They also have a Dreamsicle, though it's downright sucks in soy.
  19. I suppose. But Peak's Coconut Milk is just a straight coconut albeit a little light. The vanilla would comes from the "dreamsicle" and "cherry vanilla" fragrances.
  20. 25% Cherry Vanilla, 25% Dreamsicle (Creamsicle) and 50% Coconut Milk should get you a very accurate dupe though it's probably cheaper just to by the FO. I believe SOS has one with a hint of fig added as well...I'll see if I can find it again. It was under a different name.
