  1. You guys are so funny! I am sitting here just cracking up...'cuz I see myself in all your posts! It's ALL so TRUE! Stacy
  2. Tell me about it...I have candles drowning all over the place. Thank goodness I'm on a new batch and it's back to normal...if there is such a thing. :rolleyes2 Stacy
  3. No, I didn't find it too hard to wick. When I made my last candle with my left over oil a few weeks ago, I had to wick up...but I think it's my wax. It's a great oil...enjoy. Stacy
  4. If you want one that's spicy...I LOVE Just Scents Pumpkin Pie hth Stacy
  5. I got mine ordered...before you all rush over there to get yours!! heehee :yay:
  6. I love Fresh Mac Apple from Millcreek or Green Apple from Snowtops...they both smell true and throw very well in soy! hth Stacy
  7. Rusty- I tend to agree with Kaybee. I use Plain 415 and I have had a heck of a time wicking lately. I am trying to wick Elevation Jars (which are similar to Apothecary Jars), and I am having the same issue of them getting halfway and below and they start to drown. I was using another type of jar before and am in the process of changing to these jars. It didn't hit me until I saw Kaybee's last post. Because I've never had so many problems. It's hard to read the batch date on my box because it's printed over stuff already printed on the box...but it looks like it's 6-15-05. Thankfully I'm on my last box. Wish there was a solution, because it sure seems lately that there are a lot of inconsistencies from batch to batch of this product. Stacy
  8. These are my 4 MOST favorite...but I use lots more...don't know how many you are looking to buy. BTW, I use soy. Grandma's Swingin' Egg Nog -Goes without saying... Amish Harvest-Great spicy scent Buttermint Candies (For an awesome candy cane/winter scent) Home for the Holidays (There are mixed reviews on this on this board-but it was a bestseller for me last year) hth, Stacy
  9. Laura- Thanks for the answer...off I go to get started! Stacy BTW, What a great idea about using the leftover potpourri for firestarters!!
  10. This is weird...I was just coming here to ask a potpourri question! Please excuse me for butting in. :rolleyes2 I plan on making scented rosehips with other stuff mixed in. My question is, do I scent them with straight fo, or should I cut the fo with something? Any help is greatly appreciated. I am itchin to get to it. TIA Stacy
  11. It's supposed to be in this week!!! :yay: Stacy
  12. Excuse me for jumping in here...but you might check with a company, like Candlewic and see if they would offer special pricing if a large order was placed. Maybe if you explain that it is for a co-op, they might like the idea of a goodwill gesture that might bring them a bunch of potential new customers. Stacy
  13. I use Mango Papaya from Peak. Not being much of a fruit person...I don't know if it's more Mango OR Papaya smelling. Stacy
  14. There's a discussion on it over at thescentreview.com . Seems it does well in soy at between 5-6%. HTH Stacy
