  1. Gail- For a nice cinnamon spicey scent I like Bittercreek's Harvest and also their Spice...both throw awesome in my soy. hth Stacy
  2. I second Meridith's opinion... steer clear....don't waste your time and hard earned money...it took forever to get my order...and got nothing but excuses. Stacy
  3. It's not necessary to test each scent...just one, to make sure it's 'acting' the same as the last batch. hth Stacy
  4. I second that Vickey. There also seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the posts about this wax and I'd like to add that the reason Jason is offering free samples, he wants us to try it and hopefully like it and then we'll all want our wax suppliers to carry the new wax. Myself, I'm looking forward to trying it...nothing ventured, nothing gained. Bring it on!!! Stacy
  5. Jason- Would you be able to post the specifics of each wax here so we don't have to jump to the website when someone posts about their experience with one of them? Thanks Stacy
  6. I don't know why but it smelled sour to me, even in the wax. But it seems a lot of scents along those lines do that to my sniffer. Go figure...will have to try it again when the senses aren't so overloaded. Stacy
  7. Hey Vickey...so this is what you had up your sleeve! Great news!! Thanks Vickey and welcome Jason... Stacy
  8. Plain 415 is my soy of choice ...runs me 37.95/50#
  9. Thanks Bruce...guess it won't be long before I take the pallet plunge.
  10. Bruce- If you don't mind me asking...how many pounds in a pallet? I pick up my wax and can only fit 1400 lbs in my car at a time...wondering when I'll be up to pallet quantities... TIA Stacy
  11. I second Peaks Spruce Christmas Tree, I also like Rocky Mountain Christmas from Fragrance Oil Heaven. Stacy
  12. I just mix Spiced Cranberry and Evergreen half and half...I like it...not overly pine-like. It might be easier to mix your own and give them a few samples at different ratios, might be easier for them to pick one they like. hth Stacy
  13. Okay...so my question still stands...when they say 'soy/veggie blend' what other 'veggies' are out there that they might use besides cottonseed oil. It's just a trivial question...but something I've always wondered. tia stacy
  14. ike- Thanks for posting...that's what I thought. Nice to have it confirmed though. Stacy
  15. Kris- Sorry if I offended you...I thought by the posting of your label design you were looking for comments...that happened to be mine. *Shame* on you for being so touchy. :lipsrseal I hope you get the approval...they are very nice labels.
  16. ike- just wondering what % you are using in your soy that you didn't get a good hot throw from js oils? if you don't mind me asking. Stacy
  17. I sometimes have to furnish a copy of my sales tax license to companies, and that has my tax number right on it. hth Stacy
  18. That looks very nice. But isn't that Warren Kimble's artwork? I think he might have issues with your using it without his permission since he's got licensed products all over the place. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But great job! Stacy
  19. Sorry for your troubles...but I still think you can get a hold on the market with the fragrance before others get their hands on it. Get some of the candles poured and start pushing them to your contacts. I would think it would be a while before others discover it, get it tested and on the market...JMO Stacy
  20. May I ask a dumb question? :undecided What do you paint the fo on with? A brush? If so, how do you clean out the brush to do another scent? TIA Stacy
  21. Just wondering if anyone has ever tried their 'Spice' in soy? I love this scent, and it says that it works in soy...but I can't get it to throw for beans. Stacy
  22. Okay Vicky...you don't have any more info. But CAN you tell us...how soon is soon? Still this year? Early next year? And how will us little peeps know when it gets here? Especially if we don't know ANYTHING about it?? If we start a game of 20 questions... will you play along? heehee
  23. I usually have that problem when sunlight hits my candles. I can't imagine what else might have caused it, unless it had been out where the light in the store got to it and then somehow got rotated to the back of the shelf? Sorry I can't be of more help...Stacy
