Once you've been a member for 30 days, you'll be able to post in the Off Topic area and see the Co-Op stuff too. I think you also have to have a certain amount of posts, but I think you've passed it already.
If you do advance search, and then put tarts or melts, and then have it check titles only, that weeds out stuff too. One search that I have done that came up with good info like that is "testing tarts"
I have done a ton of reading and have learned that I need to try it out myself because everyone seems to have different results with different waxes. I chose a couple of waxes to purchase and I am determined to make them work for me. I am still waiting for my supplies to arrive but I will definitely share my findings as I'm testing. Good luck!! There is great information when searching, even though the search function is a little wonky these days.
I have a hair accessories shop on Etsy, haven't started the tarts/melts yet. March was really strong and April has been a little slower. I think it was that way last year too. I'll have to check my reports. Then May and June were really strong again. I hope it picks up for you.
Wow- .86 each is a lot! Like I said, these ones came out to about .15 for me. They ship from California and I'm in Oregon, so shipping wasn't bad. Good to know you haven't had problems with them. I'm excited to have found a good supplier for these!
I posted it wrong. There's no 's' at the end. Here's a link straight to the 6 cavity. http://eclamshell.com/search_results.asp?PAGE=2&stock=1&catName=1500 I have 875 coming to me if anyone needs some. lol. I'm in Oregon. I was going to split it with someone, but I haven't heard from her in awhile. I hope she's ok.
Their 6 cavity clamshells are much cheaper than anywhere I've seen. With shipping they come out to about .15 a piece. I think I remembering seeing someone having a bad experience with them, but the search function is having a bad day.
Beautiful kitchen! I'm drooling since mine is a tiny apartment kitchen. I miss having a nice big kitchen. I LOVE the spices above the stove! Looks really cool.
I would love love love to see pics of the tart bars. I plan on doing both the tarts in 1 & 2 oz portion cups and also clamshells. I like the idea of a customer being able to buy a sampler of the fragrance to try.
Hi Shellie! (That's my sister's name too) Welcome to the board. I have yet to start too as I am reading, reading and reading some more. My supplies will be here in the next few weeks and I can't wait to start either. Good luck and don't forget to post pics of your stuff!
Those look great! Nice smooth tops. I am still in the process of trying to figure out which ones to try first. I want to pick a wax or 2 to try and really learn how to make them work for me. I am looking forward to seeing more of your results!
