  2. If you are doing Salt Bars I do about 21 ounces of oils because the Salt adds some volume to the batch. Barbara

  4. I mixed three colors together Jbren Hydrated Chromium Green, Neon Blue and Green Oxide. I was just playing around until I got the Teal Blue green I wanted. Barbara
  5. The Eucalyptus Fragrance came from Bittercreek North is from a company they bought out BNL (Bubbles & Lights). Barbara

  7. Yes, Birdie was so nice!!! It was really nice to meet everyone I wished we had more time that day to get together and talk. It was a pleasure to meet Satin Ducky, Diamond K, Alajane, Sheila from Synergy, Ronnie Colvin,(Madison Candle Works),and Paul from Tog Molds Thanks for the demonstration.   8. No Coconut or Palm it will taste like soap. Use a combination of oils Like Tallow/Vegetable oil, Castor, Sunflower, Sesame, Rice Bran, Olive and Cocoa Butter Deordorized. HTH Barb
  9. Nothing wrong with that if you are going to use it for yourself and Family it actually looks pretty good I like it!!! Barb
  10. It get confusing when doing the 50/50 lye water solution sometimes you just have to write it down on paper. If your recipes calls for 6 ounces of Lye you despense 12 ounces of your solution to get the 100 percent lye amount but you need to add back in your water of 6 ounces to get the 33% solution. HTH Barbara
  11. So what happened to the soap? Did it accelerate fast? How long ago did you make it? Your lye is the right amount but you sure did a super duper water discount!! If it hasn't been that long ago I put cut it up in small pieces and cook in the crockpot with the additional 12 ounces you shorted in the soap and do HP. Barbara
  12. Did you short it by 12 ounces of water or 12 ounces of your 50/50 water lye solution? Barbara
  13. I have heard of using two pour pots too and having someone twirl the jar around while pouring!!! Barbara

  15. Yep!!!! Love my 2 Silvermoons the liners are alot thicker than Uplands they almost stand up by there self they are 1/4 inch thick and very strong I would have to say these are excellent quality. You can't go wrong with Silvermoon they are great people to work with. Barbara
  16. The reason my gell so fast is that I put mine in the oven at 170 degrees for 30 minutes to gell and they get hard fast that is why I can cut them in an hour. Barbara

  18. No Lemon Pucker from BCN does not turn dark and No A or D. I just love this scent would be great in Liquid soap for the Kitchen too. Barbara
  19. Don't know about Lemon Sugar I use Lemon Pucker from BCN and it is fantastic in soap!! Barbara

  21. Karol, High Voltage fragrance is one of Old Mill's fragrances now at Tony's (Southergardenscents). Tony's Bought out Old Mill. Barbara

  23. Vio, I use the #4 and #7 boxes from the USPS they are Priority Mail but not Flat Rate. The #4 is smaller and the #7 is larger. Barbara
