  1. Yes I do everything at a light trace it helps with the pour I try to change colors atleast 6 to 8 times but you can change as much as you like. Barb

This is a 48 ounce recipe you are using so if you want to get the percentages of each oil you would divide the ounces of each one by 48 for example 10 divided by 48 equals 21 percent for the Crisco. That way when you go back to soapcalc you will have the percentages to put in. Here are some guidelines Cleansing between 14-22 Conditioning between 47-50 Bubbly between 14-25 Creamy between 16-35 Iodine try to get 64 and below Oleic 37- try to get higher but I like mine around 40 Palmitic try to stay below 16 HTH Barbara

  4. I used a funnel and centered it in the middle of a log about 2 inches up from the mold and poured colors in there each time you pour it make a ripple effect. Barb

  8. I had Taylored Concepts try to dupe Energy from Solas it was nothing like it. I tried mixing my own Energy with BCN Citrus Splash and a touch of Spearmint/Peppermint it was good but still not like Solas Energy. Barbara

  11. This is the pic for the Japanese Funnel Swirl off a soaping blog!! You center the Funnel over a log mold and pour your colors in there make sure the first color covers the bottom of the mold and on you last pour make sure you pull the funnel up. Barb

  17. Soapbuddy, Yes this is the funnel method I think I need to put the funnel up higher from the log mold so the soap will spread out further this was my first try. Barbara
