Went to check out there store. Ask the lady if they were soy candles and she says no. She said there is no difference between soy and parrafin! I said really, I opened a jar and said oh the tops are so rough. She said we have smooth tops over here all they do is cook the wax for hours for it to become smooth. The ladies did not seem very friendly!

I feel for everyone. Its not like it use to be. I would bring home over $1,000 from one show. Now you are lucky if you make over $300. I noticed all the $1.00 - $10.00 items were selling. Alot of my $30.00 and above did not sell. I organize a craft show and make sure it is handmade. So many times they are juried in and decide to throw something in on the side, I make them take it down. Or another thing is I have my candy people in the hallway so then someone else in the banquet room decides to sell candy, I make them remove it. Just because they see the people in the hallway selling. I always hear from vendors that it is so hard to get into my show. I am very picky - you have to have a nice display and table coverings go to the floor.

Just received a call from a gift shop asking if I would stock the shop. He said he would only take 25%. Going have to try!

Needless to say she did not pull the jars, people were buying them! Oh well, I did good - Monkey Farts was number one again. Sold out 2 cases of them.

After your done pouring all your candles and you have some smears on your jars how do you wipe them down.

Took my candles to a local craft show tonight. I was pleased with my set up and location, as I was leaving the room I saw some small jars of candles wrapped in celophane. He had 3 of them tied like they were candy. Nice candles - Dollar Store Candles! I went and found the organizer and said I have a question is this show suppose to be all handcrafted. She fumbled and said yeah well sometimes people sneak things in. I turned and said like these made in China candles! I said this isnt good with my Soy Candles right over there. She says oh you have nothing to worry about. Well 3 candles for $6.50 I think I do! We will see if they are taken off the table in the morning.

I have used the glitter on the Snowman Balls and Birthday Cake I have used the sprinkles.

I know this has been ask several times but . . . What makes a candle throw both hot and cold. Wick Temp the wax is melted at Temp in which the wax is cooled Temp when you add your fragrance Wax Fragrance And how do you know if you purchased a good fragrance? Just thought this would be a good thread.

This one is a flash site. Do you know that over 90% of your customers will go away with a flash site especially with a e-commerce site. Takes to long to load. Flash, intentionally or not, may prevent some users from being able to access your site. Another one with templates. I attended college for Web design and funny how people always think free is the way to go. Do you know also most of these places are in the UK. Not sure about everyone else, but we should try to buy in the U.S.A. Lets get the economy going again! We promote our candles that way. Sorry just had to vent.

You are paying $20.00 per month. It is not even your design you have to use their free templates. How many people do you think have the same template? I only charge 10.50 per month.
