  1. just thought of this one-Dirty Dancing from JS! they don't say it a dupe of Juicy Couture's Dirty English, but the descriptions are pretty close. very strong! kris
  2. cinnamon raisin bread closeout is a very yummy bakery scent-but have only used it in my oil burner, not wax yet. the scent was very strong for at least 6 hrs. with the little bit of oil (plus a few drops of dpg) in the burner. Both the Amber and the Amber Woods closeout are super (if ya like amber scents)! amber woods is for candles only and it really was great with my wax (J233). the amber closeout is for candles & B&B, but have only tested it straight on my own wrists-very, very nice and they both remind me of B & BW's sensual amber. HTH-kris
  3. thanks for the input-i have paid higher prices than that, for probably less weight. maybe i can just keep adding things to make the shipping more worthwhile!! thanks-kris
  4. reading some old posts and saw that they ship from canada (2007 this was). is this still true? want to order some EO's, but don't want to mortgage the house for the shipping!! the site said i was in the US store-but still??!! any info appreciated (as i have already filled my cart!) TIA-kris
  5. love it!! great job-really looks antiquey! did you do the fireplace mantle too? love the look! kris
  6. I myself use Black Canyon in melt/pour. you might want to give JS Dirty Dancing a try-i love it in soap and my candles! to me it is manly-sexy. and i think it sounds similar to the description for the Juicy Couture Dirty English. whatever it supposed to be, it is good! kris
  7. voodoo love is great - i also really like their patch - BUT it does not smell like a regular straight patch. it does smell great though! the Pumpkin Ginger Streusel is also very strong and yummy-plus it is listed as skin safe. really liked the winter woods and used many a tarts with this for the winter last year. really would like to know what anyone thought of the Autumn Leaves-been wondering about this cause it sounds so good! kris
  8. do not know where her oils came from-but i really LOVE the Paradise that she had! not to mention many others. kris
  9. nevermind-it is sold out!! just knew it was a good one! but who scarfed it all up??!! ha-kris
  10. anyone have any thoughts on this from daystar? love patch, but do not really need another supplier - or more fo's! but it does sound good! blood orange and patch. do i need this?? somehow, i think i know what the answer will be! tia-kris
  11. tried this 50/50 blend a while ago in tarts-used MW patch and NG pink sugar. loved it! super strong too! also just mix the oils and use it body oil-just for me, not for selling. I call it pink hippy!! if you like both you should love the mix! kris
  12. have not been posting for a while, only following, but as mentioned early in this thread-try keystone candle's Salty Sea Air. the closest to a real ocean smell. Similar, but much stronger than ICS version. HTH-kris
  13. thanks-i just remembered that everybody was going pumpkin happy, so i figured it was coming up soon!! i can surely wait for a week-so i can try out some different scents! as if i have even tried all the ones i already have-hah!! thanks-kris
  14. was wondering if anybody knows when AH/RE sample sale occurs? thinking it was before the fall frenzy! i need to place an order but could wait if the sale is coming up soon! i recieved the log on to facebook for specials email, but accidently deleted it! tia-kris
  15. aroma haven and candlemakers store both have french vanilla oak. haven't tried them yet, but oob, they both smell really good-yet cms has a deeper vanilla scent. only my opinion-hth-kris
  16. any new opinions on the JS bodacious buys? i am wanting to try a bunch of them, but will probably just go with loverboy and urban cowboy (since i'm trying to "cut back"-hah!) thanks-kris
  17. they sell the pottery base (green and other colors too) at my local dollar tree. the clear glass bowl is also sold there in a 3-pack. so the entire "melter" runs about $1.34 to put together! without including the tealights that is! kris
  18. i have the sumer fruit and jasmine-it smells really nice OOB, but have not put it into anything yet. seems to smell fruity first, then the floral. never smelled the B&BW version, so can't compare. i do like CW's oils though. what i have tried, i really think are good. you might want to sample their sweet sandlewood (not a true sandlewood-still very nice). also like the patch from them-but again, smells nothing like regular straight patch, but very nice and strong. LOVE the voodoo love also!!! bet you already know all these though! kris
  19. looks great-and as others with military connections have mentioned-the work and attention are greatly appreciated! my daughter was stationed in NC-cherry point though judy! kris
