maybe start with this from candlewic- Voodoo Love Candle Scent Rich seductive scent of patchouli, cedarwood and exotic spices. i get the witches brew from candles and supplies and the voodoo love is similar-but to me-much softer, so maybe the vanilla would work well with it. oh, VL is skin safe & like 20 bucks per lb. - reg price! it is under the ultimate extreme scent listing. hth-kris

in the past i have used weak sprays of both eucalyptus and peppermint EOs on my dog as flea repellents. when i adopted a cat, thought i would use these for the fleas. after searching online, i found that most, if not all, EOs are dangerous, even deadly, for cats. so i agree with deb426-would not use any on the dog in case the cat would ingest some while playing. on the other hand, i have seen some commercial-dog only- products that contain a variety of EOs (even cinammon oil-talk about maybe irritating!!). i will say though, that my dogs never had adverse reactions OR fleas when i used the peppermint and eucalyptus EOs. kris

heat gun it and wipe out with paper towels and then a disinfectant wipe. the glass will be hot though. then i wash out with hot water and brillo pads and really rinse well. i use this method for pour pots also. hth-kris

could they be made in the ice cube trays that make "sticks" of ice for use in sport bottles?? i think i have one-might give it a try! i think the shape looks nice and could be packaged cute. how much do they weigh? off to look for the stick ice cube tray!! kris

I am not sure either, but have noticed that some oils that WERE in the BB line, are now not and are regular prices. Also, some that have been regular prices are now discounted to the BB line. also see that some have just vanished and i did not ever notice them on the clearance or disco pages. kris

thanks for the reply. i don't usually facebook, but as i was searching for my label templates, i found my scent notes and pepperberry is skinsafe. didn't have anything on holiday wreath though. at least i can try the pepperberry out in a spray! i really like that one, so it will work out! thanks again, kris

does pink sugar discolor in M & P like it does in CP or HP? planning on whipping up a batch and using candle source or BCN versions. any advice welcome!! TIA_kris

just getting done dipping some battery candles, plastic pineapples (so they look like all wax lol), and trying to grubby up some glass christmas balls. the glass ornaments are a real b#@*# to get right! the wax is either slipping right off or balling up on them and looking very sloppy-well past grubby-just ugly! oh well, the mess is all over the kitchen so i well keep messing around. at least there are leftovers for supper, don't have to worry about a food mess too! have fun whatever you are all into! - kris

just recieved my order from New Directions-sandalwood EXTRA FO (they have like 3 different ones) is really good!!! it is a flashback of my room when i was 17-and ain't saying how long ago that was! but this is some good stuff! all others i have tried have been too harsh-perfumey-fake. but this is really nice/woody and strong. put a few dabs on my wrists this morning at 6 AM and i can still smell it!! yeah i know-time to go to sleep now! this was my first order from ND and am impressed with everything-including prices! hth-kris

sounds like my town-although it is probably smaller than where you are-i can remember at least 6 sewing factories, separate men's & lady's shops, shoe stores, etc. now you have to get what you need at wally world or travel at least 14 miles to the closest mall (which is a PITA as i hate to drive). you can see people here shopping at wally's or the grocery stores in their PJ's and even picking up their kids at school dressed that way! at any rate-i have sniffed OOB the following oils that you mentioned: Black Cinnamon-like this, reminds me of something, but is mellow/spicy Blood Orange and Goji Berries-very fruity, smells strong Kumquat-the one i have was on the discontinued page-smells strong and tangeriney (?), don't know if it is the same one Mango Paradise-yummy, but not a pure mango Passionfruit and Acai - very fresh, tart, and fruity Pink Sangria-love this, OOB can't smell any "wine" thing going on-want to try this for M&P Sandalwood-no worse than any other, more perfumey-i just got sandalwood extra from New Directions and it is OUTSTANDING-used a few drops on the wrist this morning and stilss smells great after 10 hours!! Tropical Horizon-very tropical without being super fruity-there is a dry-green thing going on that really smooths this out hope this helps, but as said, only sniffing, not making. really though, am VERY impressed with the New Directions sandalwood EXTRA (they have like 3 types). this one makes me think of my closet when i was 17!!! i have been sniffing myself all day!
