right after i had ordered the new sample pack that included pumpkin hollow & weathered crow from the candle maker store, i saw that gelluminations(or whatever they were then), had those two in their line-up. have since noticed that they carry what seems to be the same fragrances and also have 2 grades of oils!!there is also that other place that has the same oils as candlemakers store, but in 8oz. bottles (i forget that name though). also-just checked my wax that i ordered from gelluminations, before they were midwest, and it too says distribution center - spirit lake IA. this was back in either april or may!!! makes ya wonder!! kris

thanks for the hints-gonna give a mix of pumpkin pie filling and the cornbread a try in the oil burner to sniff it out. like i need more pumpkins!!! thanks again-kris

am wondering if the pumpkin part of this scent is a spicey or sweet type ?? i have the KY cornbread and was going to try to mix a pump with it. i have about 10 diff pumpkins and do not really like the plain cornbread. any ideas?? TIA-kris

this is weird!! just got my 2nd order from the AH/RE sample sale and i ordered another pumpkin creme brulee (so i have 2 to play with). the first sample is a very very light tan in color. the one i got yesterday is BLACK!! same labeling & smell the same, but what's up with that? totally black and you can not see through the bottle at all. seems like the color will def affect any product! did this happen to anyone else? kris

countyline, regarding bonefire bliss-i do not smell a smokey campfire. it is sorta dry woods, not pine though. the sweet is propably the marshmallow. i really think it smells wonderful!! hope you enjoy it too, even if it isn't smokey. am ordering more!! (imagine that!) kris

i have the bonfire bliss in my oil burner right now and it is WONDERFUL!!!!! similar, but not the same as my total favorite Aztec driftwood. this is a bit sweeter, vanilla??, but still great! for some other oob sniffs: Incense-love!!! very similar to JS sin city (which is much more $$$) butternut pumpkin-smells great & pumpkiny with some walnut/hazlenut background falling leaves-rich and sort a earthy, i love it corn husk-sort a fresh, but dry n a little sweet too prada-smelled alot like the angel dupes at first, but i dabbed some on and in a few mins. smelled better and totally different from angel! like it! ALL the pumpkins are wonderful! can really smell the cheesecake in the p. cheesecake. also imo-pumpkin brulee smells alot like CS p. souffle patchouli & the patch blend smell good too! (had to try them) can't sniff no more today!!!! hth-kris

i got the gingerbread brulee-smells yummy and rich,but not really gingery. i will get another though cause it can be used for sprays, etc. and most gingers can't. oob sniffs: picken pumpkins smells like ICS sweet cin. pumpkin amish quilt- ICS home sweet home (& i like NG or BCN better) celtic moonspice - similar to JS kitchen spice mysteria-smells almost exactly like TCS lavish laundry i really love them all but some are too close to what i have already. i'll sniff more later and give some more thoughts (in case ya all need to make a 2nd order!!!!) right carol k? kris

my order came today!! i stayed home from swimming so it wasn't on my porch in the heat! unfortunately the old boy was home too so he saw yet another box coming-oh well!! anyway, just from sniffing oob, seems like i have to place another order before the sale is over. this is getting just a tad out of hand i am thinking-but 2 oz. are better than 1!! for testing i mean. just to let everyone know, every bottle was totally filled to the top and most weighed 1 5/8 oz. so figure that the bottles are about 1/4 oz, there is almost 1& 3/8 oz. per bottle. awesome-so one more of my favs and then i will have more than enough to play!!!! gotta go place another order!!!

as long as it is somewhere on the way!! not that i need it since my AH-RE order is currently headed my way! this way i can spend time sniffing those first!! thanks-kris

carol k - meant that there is a limit of 1 per scent - which i am totally thankful for!!!! i usually go for the 2 or 3 limit so i can play-but good grief, that would be like120!!??? i think i should pare down my list-to maybe 20? or start the local foho chapter! so last week i order a bunch of BC stuff & the patch prebuy and a "few" samples from MW AND then today i get the AH-RE newsletter. so tomorrow i have to order MORE fo's!!!! check your email for the newsletter! and to think, nobody even had to "enable" me! i only have 40 to order-thank goodness there is a limit on the samples or i would really be in trouble! now if only the old boy would to camp all next week when they might come in!?!? oh, and by the way, she has gotten in some new scents. even some body-safe pumpkins!! just so ya all know-kris

sorry-know this is no help to you, but i was thinking of ordering some scents from starville myself. reading the older posts i have become (slightly!!!) obsessed with sniffing havana & high maintenace. are starville's good dupes for these? they don't have scent descriptions for them so can't see how they match up with the originals. also, is it true that their Tuscan garden is really tyler's Diva? i'd really like to give them a try, so any help/advice is welcome!! tia-kris

hi there again!! maybe baskets or wooden (cd size) bins? are you thinking tabletop or floor displays? i saw this and think it would be cool for tarts/melts. but it doesn't look easy to break down for storage does it? its from The Frank Edmunds Company but i think any bin or basket would work. hth-kris
