  1. I still have an old @sbcglobal.net one and it seems to be working ok. Hope they get it fixed for you soon. I would go nuts without our email.
  2. Thanks for the links everyone. Still nothing that compares to our local source tho... but honestly we HATE going to this place... *cough cough* WSP Really debating on shoving out the almost $300 to get 2 cases of them from a link we found here on CS.. But geezs 1750 clamshells?? I know we would go through them in time but man, that's a lot of clamshells lol
  3. Yup, add some black to get that deep dark forest green =)
  4. Anyone know of a good source for the 6 cavity clamshells? Wholesale Supply Plus has them at a decent price but are out of them till next month.... Not looking for the full case of 875 some offer, but do need around 300 - 400. Or if anyone has some they want to part with, send us a inbox or email us at EccoLights@gmail.com Thanks!
  5. Were so sorry that your having issues with the tarts and hope this simple tip may help you some. Not saying to buy a new wax or FO or anything, but try to increase your FO to 1.5 ounces to each pound of wax? This is what we use for all our candles, tarts, tea lights, votives, pillars, etc and seems to work extremely well =) The debate over the "best wax for xxxx" is different for every single person, so personally, it's what YOU like, not what others like.... but the 1.5 ounces should give your tarts a better throw and make it stronger. Being your not "burning" the tarts with a wick, no worries if you go over on the FO a bit =) Best of luck to you and hope you have some success soon =)
  6. I tend to lurk in the darkness here alot but had to chime in on this one =) We feel your pain OP =) We just got a 100lb wax melter (direct heat) and it had some left over wax from the prior owner in it... so one day we kicked this sucker on and my husband was going to play around with some molds we got too... well it takes a long time to warm up and has that valve thingy, so it apparently was taking too long to melt down, so the hubby decides to leave the spout thingy half way open.... said it would melt quicker that way LOL Then proceeds to watch a show and forgets about the half turned valve thingy and next thing you know..... 15lbs of wax pouring in our office.... down the hallway..... into the bathroom... down the heat registrar and cold air return... OMG!!! It was a HUGH mess!!! Thank god this women that had it before used paraffin wax, so clean up was a snap... due to the sheet of wax that popped right up off the floor... the vents... well that's another story... but the coolest thing of all from this was when I went down stairs to check the furnace... I swear to you.. I walked right into a cave... with stalactites forming off the ceiling LOL I sooooooo wish I had pictures of it!!! LOL =) So don't feel to bad... it happens to us all =)
  7. We would love to know of any suppliers also Good question Judy
  8. Got ours yesterday also with a nice letter from our post man LOL OOB we have to say we thought of spiced cranberry or spiced cookie right off, didn't get the citrus part just yet. Will be melting today and give a full evaluation of it by tomorrow
  9. SMCC, Same as ChrisR said... we color all (well most) of our soy candles and over 130 scents have never had soot from it... So would agree it's either to much FO or wick being to big... HTH BTW, Who do you blame when your kid is a brat Pampered and spoiled like a siamese cat Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame You know exactly who's to blame The mother and the father
  10. Haven't seen that one yet but will keep a eye out Thanks!!
  11. Wouldn't mind one of these ourselves EccoLights@gmail.com TIA
  12. We use NG's Apple Pie and love it!
  13. I do know many times with NG you can request scents and they will work on them for you. Only issue I have seen is the list gets VERY large VERY quick and may take a few months before you see a result. But would recommend NG for that!!
  14. Wow that looks horrible I'm sorry... Don't have experience with that wax so don't know what to tell you... Pic size is much better tho
  15. Agreed with soy LOL You can even see every single ripple of the wax too :yay:
  16. Not a problem at all hun Glad we could help
  17. I know its just our thoughts and our opinions... but we think WSP just got greedy... period! Look at their FO compared to NG alone. The same exact FO we get at NG for $13.95 is $34.00 at WSP?? Oh lets not forget thats with free shipping!!! What a deal hun???
  18. We agree with Vicky, but typically we do a 3x markup including shipping.
  19. We live close to WSP and found this out the other week when we just needed some wicks till we got back out to NG. Couldn't believe that after the "free shipping" crap that now they are going to do a minimum order?? Let's just say, we know where we will be shopping from now on..... *waves goodbye to WSP*
  20. IMHO the pour temp for tarts does not matter to much... but adding the FO does.... depending on the FO they all have different flash points and if you add your FO above the flash point you will evaporate (burn off) the scent.
  21. We love creating new scents too and would love to try yours out It sounds just wonderful!! Should we send you a PM with our info??
  22. We will be watching this one too, would love to find a better way to do our brochures other then printing ourselves.... Office Max, Staples and even Kinkos are just to expensive!
  23. I'm so jealous of you all!! Soon enough we will have our wonderful presto pot.... for now double boiler will do
