  1. I LOVE those!! Can't wait to see how you did them!!
  2. Thanks!! I have everything crossed. Yes, I am going to figure out what I can do, and at what prices, and bring her samples of the things. I have several ideas that I think that 17 year old girls would LOVE!! (Hopefully!!!)
  3. Thank you so much!! I know that my boys would go wild over this!!!
  4. Awesome!! Where would I find it? If you could answer that, I would be most grateful. Sorry to have so many questions.
  5. I would LOVE to try this, what is the germaben?
  6. Alan, you don't know how the customer appreciates that. There is a supplier that I have bought from several times. Twice, I didn't know that they were out of an FO until the rest of my stuff arrived a week later. It was printed at the bottom of the packing slip that they were out of it, and would send it when it was back in stock. Infuriating.
  7. I would also be pleased to have a pm about this, I have some cocoa butter coming, and would love a good recipe.
  8. I have a meeting on Thursday with the Chamber of Commerce for our town, to see if she wants me to make gift baskets for the contestants of the queen contest that we have at the end of September. I would LOVE to do this. It's about 24 girls, three judges, and an MC. I want this really badly!!
  9. I sold a leather scent in my business and it seemed that I was the only one who liked it. My husband couldn't even stand it.
  10. I wish I had known about Peak's two years ago. I also can't wait until they add more scents.
  11. I used J223 in my business, and loved it. It puts off one hell of a throw. It's just so expensive. ESPECIALLY by the time you add in the 24 dollars shipping for 50 pounds to get it here.
  12. Do any of you ever buy scents from him? Are his any good? I am not sure if this is an appropriate forum for this question, just delete it or move it if I am wrong.
  13. I made a candle yesterday with the Peaks Fudge Brownie, and when Hubby came in the door he smiled and said, "You made BROWNIES!!!" :lol
  14. I bought peaks for the first time, and have made a Stormwatch candle. The thing LITERALLY is so good, that you can just walk into the room, and smell it. I have NEVER burned it yet. It's a pillar candle. It's just totally scenting up my room, without even having to burn it yet.
  15. It's not very well lit, it was just an experiment, my very first. It's a combination of a swirl and a chunkie. I think I like it a lot. Can't wait to get better at it. Scented Stormwatch.
  16. Sure, but I really don't think that the eye rolling is necessary, do you? She asked, I answered. I used the Candles and Supplies wick that is called 60-44-18 Zinc Core Wicking
  17. My package of stuff from Peaks got here today. To say the LEAST, I am extremely satisfied. The scents were sensational!!!!!! I got the sampler pack, so that I could try several before I plunged in. WOW. I just finished making a stormwatch candle, and am letting it cool right now. I am in love with these scents. I have bought lots of scents from lots of companies, and these are excellent. Bravo Peaks!!!!!!!!
  18. I always single wicked my apoth jars. Never had a problem with them. I did 16 and 26 ouncers.
  19. Soy is a whole new ballgame. A lot of FO's will not work well in soy, that work well in paraffin. I tried soy for a while, found that it wasn't for me. Yes, you will have to have new wicks, and some of your FO's will probably not work well in your soy wax.
  20. I heat mine for a few seconds at a time in the microwave, making SURE that the top is covered with Saran wrap, so that the moisture doesn't heat out of the soap. Stir every few seconds, then mix in color and scent, then pour slowly into mold. Then lightly, and I do mean lightly spritz the top of the mold with rubbing alcohol. It has never made my soaps drying, it immediately pops all the bubbles, and people love it. I always do Goat's milk soap.
