  1. I can't pick one. That's why I have so many FOs and EOs, from a bunch of different suppliers...
  2. Yeah, they are great, I always love opening my box from AH/RE (except if I don't watch it, my kids steal the candy!)
  3. I am the VBS craft leader by default at the church I went to as a kid (the fact that I no longer even attend church anywhere apparently doesn't deter them from guilting me into helping every year), and pinterest has been just an awesome resource for me. There are literally thousands of ideas posted there, and I just made a board and started pinning. I invited my 2 helpers to pin to it too, and between all of us, we got everything ready to go for 4 different age groups from pre-K to teenagers. You should definitely hit pinterest up!!
  4. That sucks and Etsy is never very good about siding with the seller as opposed to the buyer, even if the buyer is being a jerk. I got neutral feedback once because the buyer thought there was too much cinnamon smell in my pumpkin SPICE lotion bar... she loved everything else about it, but too much cinnamon. go figure...
  5. Butt Naked is a big attention getter for me, and people request it now if I run out. I have a bottle of AH/RE Monkey Farts that I haven't put into wax yet, but OOB I think it smells very nice.
  6. nope, just old t-shirts, and an old towel/rag tucked into the back pocket of my jeans, same when I soap. I do have an apron, I just never wear it lol
  7. oo, awesome, there's a sampler pack too... might have to give that a try. Thanks!
  8. I'm still working through my POP micas, and dread the day when they are gone I've also used Select Shades (I liked them very much, you should give them a whirl) I've heard good things about the Conservatoire though, and will probably order a few colors at a time there to try them out. I'd like to find some really REALLY vibrant neons, especially a nice hot pink - any suggestions?
  9. I just wipe them out with paper towels or TP, never had a problem with scent carry over or mixing. I used to wash them after each pour, but it was a pita lol
  10. AH/RE CS MW and others (too many others lol).... but those are probably my main 3
  11. Paradise and Hunter's Moon are two of my favorites.
  12. I would be interested too. I use the 8oz square masons, would be nice to add a smaller size that matches!
  13. The reps are also usually trained to tell customers that no other tart melts will work in their warmers. It's a ploy to make sure people keep coming back for more Scentsy. My melts work just fine in Scentsy's warmers. I'm sure your's will too.
  14. I'm not even sure how I would respond to that, probably just hit delete.... they're either clueless or ballsy, can't decide which, maybe both lol I've noticed an increase in the requests I get to teach a class, or "hey can you sell me supplies", and also just a general increase in the number of newbie soap makers popping up who want to make a quick buck... newbie like "hey here's my very first batch that I made yesterday, that'll be $3 a bar, it'll cure your acne and smooth your wrinkles!" or give you a flesh eating skin rash... y'know, it's a toss up. Frustrating for sure.
  15. I use the heat seal tea bags, and then put a few of those into a big muslin bag. Found a little travel iron, it works great on the tea bags.
  16. not that one exactly, but I've used the metal meatball scooper that makes a 2oz bath bomb, I like them. I found it easier to work with than the plastic ball type mold (I could NOT get the hang of those things). but any more my weak, girly wrists hurt so bad after a day of bath bomb making, I think I'm going to have to either stop making them, or find/build a cheap press.
  17. I order from online labels, print at home on an HP laser printer, and design everything in photoshop.
  18. I love 6006, easy to work with, nice throw, works in container and clamshells
  19. Despite the fact that I KNOW my melts are better and last longer than Crapsy's (not to mention cost less), they are, for some reason, HUGE around here. I swear there are like, little cults, of devoted women who are so brainwashed by the giant Scentsy marketing machine, they won't even try anything else. It's like a status thing or something, to over-spend on an inferior product - "oh, I use Scentsy cause I'm all well to do la-ti-da" ugh. I just want to be all like - helloooo mine are better, buy from me. lol
  20. CS has Blackberry Marmalade, it smells very nice. If I remember right, it threw very well in parasoy too.
  21. I operate a small hosting company on the side, I charge my customers $10 per month for hosting. I prefer GoDaddy for domain name registration, but have never used them for anything else. I also sometimes freelance website design, not as much as I used to though, just not enough hours in the day anymore.
