  1. I guess you are either a diehard wick pin user or a diehard centered wick tab user. I will have to try both and see which team I'm on.
  2. Good thought. Of course, the first goal would be to make sure you begin with the wick or pin centered on the bottom, so that you can then worry about the top being centered.
  3. :)Thanks for the replies! I think if this is the case, I will try out the self centering wick tabs.
  4. I decided to try and make a couple of votives tonight, but found that my wick pins seem to be too small for my votive molds. I have never made votives before, so I am not sure what to expect-but when I pulled the votive out of the mold, there was wax on the bottom like it had leaked around the sides and under the wick pin because the pin doesn't touch all sides of the mold. I always assumed that the wick pin would touch all sides of the mold. Is it supposed to? I mean, wouldn't you need that to happen in order to properly center the wick!? I did buy both separately, so that could be my problem. If only I hadn't bought 50 molds on ebay a year ago from who knows where.......So, now the goal would be to purchase both from the same supplier?
  5. I smell cucumber, cantaloupe, possibly peaches?
  6. JEALOUS! I LOVE love LOVE this. Great job! Ahh, wishing I had a real work space...not just an office closet and a kitchen. I'm going to come over and make candles at your place.
  7. Try a 36Z in this jar. They make great little candles.
  8. I will have to try that (or something like it) for the remainder of my wax! Thanks!
  9. Can't wait to dabble in new waxes! If only I could stop ordering so many FO's!
  10. Thanks! Too bad I just ordered from CS! I had to jump on the sample sale! I am going to wait until I finish out all 4627, and then start fresh!
  11. I think this is a super cute idea! I might want mine a little shorter than the knees, but def. not with my butt hanging out. Maybe mid-thigh length or so. I would be interested in seeing the diff. ways you can wear it. I think that if this was a reasonable price, people would definitely be interested in it!
  12. Thanks for all the replies! :yay:I am going to have to try these others out. Never again will I deal with 4627!
  13. Looking forward to many summer scents! Summer scents are my fave! I usually burn them throughout the year! I love anything with coconut and fruity scents. Coconut Lime Verbena Mango Peach Salsa Macintosh Apple Cotton Candy
  14. Do you just slice through the slab, or beat it to death?
  15. Okay, so this is the only container wax that I have ever used. I usually only make small batches at a time, ie: one pound. Well, I am making 50 baby food jar candles, and I am SICK of this wax. It has amazing throw, but seriously there has got to be a better way! Messy, hard to dig out, think I'm getting arthritis my hands hurt so bad! So, after all of this ranting, I am off to find a new wax. Any suggestions for something with great throw, comparable to 4627, high FO load, EASY to use!?
  16. WTF!? Did anyone else see the 50K bath?! Look on the left sidebar...
  17. Oh no! I am on here WAY too much! I am thankful there is no other forum like ours!!!
  18. This is the 12 oz. or so Libbey status jar. Any suggestions? Anyone used these with this wax? I would like to try these jars out!
  19. What I do is when I am printing my labels for things, I will make an extra label of that fragrance to put onto the bottle of FO. So the FO bottle will have the original label with the original FO name, and then underneath it, I put mine.
  20. I do like the name Berries & Lillies for sure, however, I am going to try and get into the habit of changing the names of FO's. Maybe one day I will be good at it! Haha! Thanks for the ideas!
  21. I need help with this one: Berries and Lilies- A very tranquil scent that perpetuates the aromas of fresh berries, melons, and boquets of gentle, white lilies. THANKS!!!
