  1. Those are lovely! What scent are they? I've yet to start any holiday candles, but am planning to tonight. Can hardly wait to get started!
  2. What an adorable idea having a s'mores snowman! I want one!
  3. Wow, I LOVE those! Love that deep, rich shade of green with the purple.
  4. Love the colors too. They're so vibrant. How do the heart pillars burn? I've had no luck wicking mine so that they burn decently. Any tips?
  5. I ordered 1000 of their pens a few years ago for work. Still have lots left but they've been great. I didn't notice the lettering fading away or the design peeling off. Guess it depends on the style you get, but the ones I got are great. Wish I hadn't ordered so many to start with as I really like some of the newer styles they have but can't really justify ordering more till we've used up what we started with.
  6. Some of your links lead to blank pages, which may lead people into thinking you're still in the under construction stages and not yet open for business. I'd definitely either remove the links or put the pages up as soon as possible.
  7. I love the pillars but the peppermint kisses are out of this world. Wish I were on your Christmas gift list. Mind telling us how you made the kisses like that?
  8. I'm sorry, but I don't know what we're supposed to be looking at. The yellow tapers on the second shelf or the gold one on the top?
  9. I make these with lighthouses and not to toot my own horn, but I really love 'em.
  10. MOST dyes go a long, long, long way. I did have a bad experience when just starting out with the candle dyes sold in a four pack at the local Hobby Lobby. No matter how much I put in, the candles were just barely tinted. Now I use the dye from Lone Star and a drop or two per pound is all I need. I'd advise you to get yours from an actual candle supply place too, rather than Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Have fun!
  11. That's a toughie. Maybe a mixture of fresh cut grass, clover leaf, tomato leaf, and leather FOs?
  12. perfect size for a picture! and perfect candle to go along with it.
  13. Oh dear, maybe you've made them too small, or maybe it's just my browser.
  14. They're all prettier than the original, but is there a way to post a pic of the original next to the pics for comparison?
  15. I like it, but I would add a tab to take someone directly to your home page on it.
  16. Well, I actually really like your artwork, but... The flower, being the brightest color, draws one's attention first, which is good, except that that's not where you want people to focus. The diagonal lines shown as first white stems and then empty space in the leaves serves to draw the focus off the flower, but not to your text. Then, you also have the white leaves which are drawing the focus back into the center, but nothing at all drawing the line of sight to your text, if that makes sense? While I really like the artwork, I think it may be a bit too complex for a label unless you do something like Sockmonkey suggested and put a border between the text and the image
  17. I use sculpey clay and never have leaking. Maybe give that a try?
  18. I LOVE my spigot! I keep my presto filled with white wax, open up the spigot, and fill my pour pots to a premeasured line (eliminates taring each time) and I'm good to go. I can't imagine how messy it would be without the spigot. As for the clogging, only thing that's ever in my pot is wax, so if it clogs, it just means the wax isn't hot enough to pour, so that's not really an issue.
  19. I went to my cousin's daughter's birthday party a couple of years ago. A pediatrician from the burn unit for Shriner's was there and as a result, no candle on the cake. She had some terrible horror stories to tell and I'm sure she's good reason to dislike candles, but she actually berated my cousin for having a hanukiyah still containing the remnants of the previous evening's candles as it was evidence that my cousin used candles. I feel that, used with proper caution, a candle isn't a danger. I do know many people don't use proper caution, however.
  20. Mediterranean winterland, Mediterranean frost Frosted paradise Bet it smells wonderful, and it certainly looks wonderful.
  21. Beautiful! I wasn't sure what I thought of the bottom having a different texture than the top at first, but after looking at them for a while, I really like it. It adds more depth, if that makes sense?
