  1. Hey speaking of Amber, do you have any other FO rec's from them? I get a few things there, but not many oils. TIA
  2. Yep, Ditto, Janet is wonderful---our favorite supplier for molds! We also have ordered from flexiblemolds.com and they are very nice, quick shipping excellent customer service.
  3. Richard's Packaging www.richardspackaging.com they have the best prices we have found, but you need to call in your orders. They have many more jars than listed on the site.
  4. Just to let you know, the wood wick candles soot like crazy, not the greatest buring candle in my opinion. Just a gimmick that makes people interested.
  5. Hey Barb, can you describe Flicker's? I have a customer that is on the eternal hunt for in her opinion the perfect banana nut bread. She said Peaks is pretty close, but she is still looking.....your comment made me want to try it.
  6. And I love Peaks BNB or Keystone Banana Crumb Cake, lol
  7. Well said, seems the further we humans explain ourselves we only manage to dig our graves deeper, lol.
  8. Wow, T-A-C-K-Y. I have never heard of Candlefind, but to come on a CHANDLER'S board and air someone's personal business is not smart or professional. I don't care if you felt you were in the right to defend yourself, it was in poor taste as a business professional. As an observer from the outside, I would be leery as HELL to have my company listed on your site if this is how fairly you treat your advertisers and listed candle companies. Whether they did what you claim or not, your first mistake was to air it in a public forum among thousands of folks that could be your future advertisers. This was a bad move in my book. Period.
  9. Fudge Nut Brownie from Southern Scentsations Choco Cinna Mousse from JS is very decadent
  10. Strawberry Jam from JS is very nice, super thick oil, so be sure to mix it. This one was my testers favorite.
  11. bumping this up to see if there are any reviews, as I too am curious!
  12. I didnt' get a good throw from Daystar's Buttercream, it was pretty light in my soy, but Snowtops was very strong! I use Bluegrass normally, but it is always out of stock, so we had to find a backup----Snowtop it is.
  13. I use CD's, Hemp, and LX wicks here. I just could not get RRD's to work well in any application. I just tested them again in my new jars, and they just lay down too much for my liking. I think the CD series is the best for Soy.
  14. I am in Seattle and end up getting most my supplies elsewhere. You can get great prices from Chempoint for the ADM wax, and the shipping is cheap. I don't use this wax anylonger, but it is a great soy.
  15. Hi Shelly-- I can speak from experience that your server is not alone in having server issues. I also build websites and have had many issues over the years with server crashes, it is part of the internet. I think it is just the name of the game, and you have to be able to roll with the punches when it happens. Customers get mad, but really, some things are out of your control. I think many people just do not understand the nature of the beast.
  16. This one is great, I also like her chestnuts and brown sugar, if you haven't yet tried it.
  17. JS is very strong for me, and my customers love it
  18. Thanks for the info, Candle Man. Creative Candles asked my questions before I could get to them, lol. So these jars are the same diam. around, eh? I just shot TVG an email, so hopefully I will get an answer back on pricing. We usually order a few pallets at a time, so I will be anxious to see the pricing for their jars. Thanks again for the info. What wicks are you currently double wicking with in these? I use LX or hemp currently, not sure if I have the right sizes for the jars. Glad they have the wood lids, I currently use wood. Cool!
  19. I am looking for a frosted apothecary and can't seem to find a new supplier. My jars were discontinued a while back, so we switched to a new clear apothecary. The stores all want the frosted back. ....THANKS!
  20. Caramel Cinnamon Latte--JS, hands down my best selling coffee scent Roasted Coffee--KY and JS are identical Irish Cream (Delight? or something )--Millcreek Vanilla Hazelnut Mocha--Millcreek
  21. Good luck at all your craft fairs and whatnot As for myself, I am going to be the bum that I am, and do jack **it this weekend, lol----taking the family to the ocean for a last hurrah before school starts. Catch ya when we get back Tues
  22. I use Lx wicks with my 50/50 wax, and the terrace style jars ...usually 2 LX12's, 14's or 16's. If its soy, I use 2 Hemp 1200's or 1400's
  23. Ok folks, I am at a quandry... I have been selling apothecary jars in two sizes, and need a new supplier---mine were discontinued. I found a straight sided glass jar, with a cool silver lid, got them in....tested them....then the company discontinued them. Ugghhh. While trying to decide what to carry, style etc, I started considering tureens or Metros. I am looking for a wide mouthed jar, and want to carry a couple sizes in the same jar. I can't seem to find a supplier for the straight sided jars with silver caps in more than one size, so I need to make a decision---- What sells best for you guys?
