  1. I have some fo's that are older than 2 years and are just fine. I keep mine in a cool, dark place and they are as strong as when I first bought them
  2. Maybe 2 eco 4?? I don't have much experience with that wax so I can't be of much help. My apothecary jars are 4 in diameter that I use. I tested c-3 a bit but I always had problems so I switched to another soy. Hopefully you will get it all figured out!
  3. Peak carries those square votive holders. And you can order the cookie cutters online at www.thecookiecuttershop.com if you can't find them locally!
  4. That same thing always happens to me with blueberry muffin. I tried everything I could think of it and it would still change color on me. I finally ordered a new bottle of fo cause I was about out and the new bottle isn't doing that so far. I got morphing colors with chips, blocks, and liquids. It even changed on me in paraffin too. I don't have any advice, I just feel your pain! Hopefully someone can help ya!
  5. I've ordered candles before from a couple different websites. One from a lady I met on the BC board and she's on this one too. Her candle was awesome! Great throw and clean burn. I've never had a problem with anything I've ordered off websites. I have ordered some candles from kids doing fundraisers and wasn't happy. One was from a candle company not too far from me. Jar wasn't wicked right and sooted horribly. Didn't burn right and had the ugliest label I've ever seen. But that's just my opinion on that of course. I like to buy other's stuff. I get tired of making my own sometimes
  6. I've been using cd wicks. I really like them in everything I tried. I'm still testing my 444 too. I used to use c-3 but I couldn't wick that right for anything. And I've been making candles for years. So far, I'm loving the 444!
  7. Never tried that one, but I got a great throw in BNL Buttermilk Pancakes from BC. Tried it in c-3 and it was great. I've never tried it in the reed diffusers though. But I've heard that a lot of bakery type scents don't do well in the diffusers
  8. Who has the best or strongest jack frost? I've tried both the BNL and BCS version and the BNL seems way stronger but it's also 22 bucks a pound. Anyone tried any other that are strong in soy?
  9. Thank you both! I think I will order a few and see how I like them. I'm out of a couple colors so it's a good time to test some new ones out.
  10. Has anyone used these? And do they do well in soy? I've heard not to use liquid dyes in soy cause it increases frosting but I haven't really noticed it make any difference. I love using the liquid dyes, it just makes it easier on me. I saw that their dyes are eco friendly and it says suitable for all wax types.
  11. Great idea! Never thought to check out ebay. Thanks!
  12. I've been using the clamshells but I'm really trying to keep my costs down since wax, fo's, jars, shipping..etc has went up so much. I'm trying to cut costs wherever I can. I've been seeing them a lot at crafts shows and stuff. That's good to hear about Sams. I will have to check ours out and see if they have some. I wouldn't have to pay shipping. Thanks for all the help!
  13. Anyone know of a good place to get these? I'm thinking of using those for tarts and samples. I thought about Sams but I don't know if they even carry them or if they are polypro or not. TIA
  14. I use GW 444. I guess I'll make 1 candle with this and see if it gets any better in wax. According to the website it's supposed to be a great thrower in soy but if it didn't work in 415, I don't count on it working in 444. I normally use the Vanilla Bean Supreme from BCN but I love trying new scents.
  15. I just got a sample of this with my recent order and it does smell great! I thought it was pretty similar to Pumpkin Cheesecake from BCS, which I love too. Could just be my nose though. Going to put it in wax this weekend hopefully!
  16. Just got a bottle of this in and it's not at all what I expected. I was expecting a strong creamy vanilla and it doesn't smell like vanilla at all to me. I haven't put the Ultimate Vanilla in wax yet so maybe it will get better. Anyone else use this and find it's better in wax than oob? Also thought about trying the Mexican Vanilla from JBN
  17. According to the JS website all the ones I chose are supposed to be excellent in soy. I have to test anyways so I will just see how they do. I've heard good things about them from others though. The other posts kinda had me concerned though
  18. I've got some oils from her on the way. Now I'm kinda worried! I have ordered some samples in the past and had good luck with them in 4630 but now I've switched to 444. Do they not do well in soy?
  19. Hey, Trapp can you send me the info? I think you have my email addy!
  20. It's in a post here somewhere. I came across it once. I can't remember what post now though. Sorry. Maybe someone else will post it for you
  21. I have been trying for weeks and I never can click on anything. I gave up. I didn't call because I've never ordered from them before and just wanted to see what they have
  22. I got a mold off ebay that is exactly what you describe. It fits down inside the jars and has a heart cut out of it. But I don't know why you couldn't do it yourself either. I didn't think of it really!
