Good day all! I would like to branch out into making liquid soap. All my cp soap is made using goats milk and I would like to do the same with liquid. Question - is it possible to make liquid gm soap? How much gm can be put in a recipe? Which recipe should I use when adding gm? Thank you all, Vanessa

No I didnt get an idea of an amount of advertising. The 5% commission was to help pay for advertising. My sales have been down after Christmas. They are starting to pick up again.

Hi all, How much advertising should I expect at a store selling my products if I am paying rent PLUS 5%? It just seems like there is no advertising in the papers that go out in our area except maybe 2 a year. One B4 Christmas & one around mothers day. I see other businesses that are similar have weekly adds? What do u all think?

Hi all, I package all my soaps in clear box packaging. www.clearbags.com. I know some others of you do also. They have the 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 size, for my bars made from my slab molds. I have asked them to add another size to their inventory - 3 1/2 X 3 1/2. As my mountain top looking bars (log mold bars) need this size. They said they would if I can find others interested in this size packaging. QUESTION FOR YOU - so this is my question. IS ANYONE out there interested in this size of clear box for their soap packaging? Please respond so that I can give the company a heads up, and they will add it to their inventory! How many 1/2 oz clam shell tarts do you all put in the Larger Warmers for a decent throw. I have the candle/tart Warmer from Vista wholesale. The one with the bowl that Sits on top of the plate. The bowl just seems so big. Tia - Vanessa

Every hunting season my son asks me to make him a Hunters Soap. He is asking if I can put baking soda in a CP soap batch because baking soda will help take away the human scent. Anyone have any thoughts on this?? Can I use Baking soda? Vanessa

I have been able to wick this FO if mixed with another pumpkin FO. I mix with WSP Pumpkin Spice 50/50. The pumpkin S. will dominate and adding the other pumpkin helps take away the burnt smell of the souffle

Smells nothing like Cranberry Marmalade. I have put in in wax and soap. In soap it discolored to a tan - disappointing as the reviews stated otherwise. In wax - paraffin - it smells a lot like CS's mistletoe, but with an added twist of vanilla. I like it - see how it sells.

I will be doing a craft fair in a state right next to mine. How do I handle sales tax? Do I have to get another sales tax number for the state I will be selling in or do I just submit my sales tax with the state I live in?? TIA, Vanessa

Wow! Thanks everyone for replying. I sell my B&B at a store in town they do not move like my soaps and lip balm - but then I'm not there to promote them for the good that they do! I have a couple of big summer craft sales coming up, I will sell them there and see how it goes, maybe advertise them as cracked heel repair - because of my lotion sticks my heels are sooo smooth!! Like the idea of unscented - actually have had requests for unscented. I use the recipe on this forum - the non-greasy recipe. Enriched with Wonderful jojoba oil and shea butter.
