  5. Now that I have found my vanilla, my vote is for Vanilla Voodoo...... Trappeur
  6. Brenda, I use the 16oz mason too square or the round. 16oz square htp 105 wick......If it is a heavy sent I go to the htp 126. For the crackling firewood I go with the 105 (thats in the square jar)...But this jar is the small mouth jar.... In the 16oz round jar I use htp 126 on all scents.... That the small mouth....not the wide mouth. And no, I don't have to wick up. If you send me an email Brenda with your address I have a whole bunch of the 1oz sample and I could pour into one of them and send to you. And yes you definitely do smell the smoke, but its not strictly all smoke...Just really beautiful...I love...And I have to pour some today matter of fact. How I got this scent is thru Misty as she made me a pillar in it once and it was just so beautiful.... Trapp
  7. Thought I would share pictures of my collections I've been working on.... These are firestarters that I sell a lot of in shops More firestarters And more These are muffin melts I pour by hand not from a mold. These were done in pink sugar. These are my macaroon melts the size of cookies. I don't use a mold. The embeds though are a mold. This is my canning jar collection that I sell to a gift shop in a resort. More macaroon melts More melts tied in raffia These are more melts hand poured except for the embed which is a mold I'll sometimes do the melts in jars tied off with raffia aside from selling by the piece My display in my shop And my precious little "Trappeur". He always had to be with me sitting on the counter or should I say laying all over the counter watching me work and I had to work around him...lol Now you know where I got my name from... Now, if you look real close in this picture over to the far right, there is my little guy again, "Trappeur" mixed in with the candles....lol....He just had to be everywhere I was. God forbid he miss out on one of his dozens of feedings....lol Thanks for looking. Its been a while since I put up any pictures. Hope you don't mind all these.... Trappeur
  8. Mac Apple from Bittercreek Balsam Fir (Christmas Tree) from Filmore Vanilla Voodoo from Candle Cocoon Apples and Maple Bourbon from Candle Science I have more, but you only wanted 3..... Trappeur
  9. Hi Brenda, The throw is excellent....as far as the wicking, what do you mean? In my jars I use the htp......What jars are you using? Then I could tell you what I use as far as wicks go, if I've used those jars.... Trapp
  10. Another one is Wholesale Supplies Plus "Crackling Firewood" - and so very real. Trappeur
  11. My look is a very rustic/lodgy adirondack/upscale look. I think I need to rename Vanilla Voodoo to something else. Have you any suggestions? Thanks! Trappeur
  12. Hi Kya, Actually I do need a name....My look is a lodgy rustic upscale look and I've been pondering what to name it. I thought of leaving it that name as it is a catchy name and people will remember it than a standard vanilla name.... Have you any suggestions? I think I'll put up another post and get ideas from people. Trapp
  13. Thankyou so much for putting the post here. It meant a lot to me......And glad all is well now. Thankyou Misty. Trappeur
  14. Hello Michelle, Do you remember the last email you sent me about the extras I sent you? Check your email in a while as I'll send you one. Trappeur
  15. I got some vanilla voodoo from the classifieds 2 weeks ago and wow! I finally found my vanilla....Omg! what an intensifying super rich vanilla and what a throw! Just so beautiful. I did 3/4 of an ounce to 1 pound of c-3 wax. I also made up all these little melts in that scent and not even burning them but just sitting on the counter when you walk by, what a rush! I love love that scent even as expensive as it is...It is so well worth it..... Trappeur
  16. Bittercreek has a superb sweet potato pecan pie to die for. I just made it this week....omg....just awesome! Trappeur
  17. Bittercreek has the bears and I believe the rabbits also. Trappeur
  18. Hey girl! (Sabrina) You do repours if I remember don't you? Well the bubbles that your getting; won't the repour take care of it? I automatically always plan for that because I never have had a 1 pour....Are you saying your getting bubbles on the sides? Well, do you mean that after the candle has hardened, you can actually see bubbles clinging to the walls? hmmmmm... You know what I just had to do recently? Well after I melt the wax at up to 185 to 190...I'm now pouring so much hotter....like 180......Don't know what happened, but its working like a charm for me now....even better b/4 when I poured at 159- 162.... And I have completely done away with warming the jars too...I found out that was a waste of time for me...so I'm even pouring in cool jars....lol....believe it or not! lol Geesh, hope you get your problem solved...now I'll be looking for bubbles on my walls! lol Trapp
  19. I couldn't find any apples? Where are they?. He sure does outrageous beautiful soaps - really funky....But I don't quite get his site...I don't really care for it much myself. Don't get what all those different poses he does in his site...whats up with that? I guess maybe if I spoke Spanish I might understand better...lol Trappeur
  20. If that bayberry doesn't work out for you Summer, you might want to try a new scent called bayberry by Candle Science.....its awesome!!! Trappeur
  21. Beautiful products and presentation! Love all the packaging on the diffusers and the colors of the jars of the votives....Great job! Trappeur
  22. Hi MG, I'm so sorry, but when I posted the size wicks above I somehow didn't catch that you use a different wax than I do - which I use the c-3. I guess that won't help you now...sorry. Trapp
  23. Hi Stella, If you don't mind me asking, but I think I would like to try out the Cdn's that you recommend as you use the same wax as me, c-3. I always buy my wicks from only one suppier as I know that the same exact wicks bought from different companies can be different wicks with the amount of coating they put on the wicks. I highly value your opinions and always look forward to reading your posts. Would you mind telling me where you purchase your cdn's from? Thanks Stella! Trapp
