  1. I've had a variety of things going this past weekend! First, I made pies in Apple, strawberry, straw/rhubarb, blueberry, pecan... Finished up and packaged quite a few cinnamon roll candles. Then I made Pink Lemonade votives, Fruit Slices pillars and containers. I also made more Sweet Pea soap and I HAVE to soap this Barbershop 1920's or else dh is gonna drive me crazy, LOL! This morning before work I'm making more strawberry pies and trying to get some things packaged. AHhhhhh! Work really does get in the way sometimes, doesn't it?!
  2. Shoot, I didn't get mine last night! We've got icy road conditions so I guess I have to wait til Monday now! :waiting
  3. Wow, I'm no expert, but I think it looks lovely just the way it is! I agree with the others, please don't re-melt this one. What's the scent?
  4. Wow, I love it! I know your customers are going to love 'em too. Great work!
  5. Wow, those are very nice!! I like them all, but that green rustic is REALLY gorgeous. The Lemongrass Sage is colored perfectly for the FO.
  6. Woohoo! Mine's supposed to be here Friday night! I can't wait to get them either and I'm not telling how many I ordered. :embarasse
  7. I've been playing around with 1343 and experimenting with additives to get the rustic/mottled look-though some of these were intentional rustics. I'm now on my last couple of slabs and noticed in really small writing that I have the 1343N! Anyway, here are my results, LOL! NEEDLESS to say...I'm still experimenting and loving every minute of it!! From top left: Pumpkin Spice, Home For the Holidays, & Stormwatch Bottom left: Fruit Slices, Sugar Cookie, & Green Clover & Aloe From left: Green Clover & Aloe, Stormwatch, & Gingerbread Cookies
  8. Most cherry scents burn my eyes when I pour them. Anyone else experience that? I've learned to not leave any food items open in the kitchen while pouring Lilac, LOL! DH informed me his lunch tasted like a lilac bush that day! :tiptoe: Really, the only time I started gagging was when I soaped Summer Breeze. I think it was because I had to stand over the pot and stir for so long...it finally got to me. I LOVE the scent and haven't had a problem with it since, so that had to be it.
  9. Wow, I love those! Whatever you did, keep at it, they look great! Perfect color combo too.
  10. I like how it shows up more in some spots than the others. Very pretty!
  11. Thanks, Luci! It took me awhile to get them how I liked them. It does take some practice and I use molds. Hahha!! I'd never be able to make them without the molds.. Bruce did an amazing job on his pies and they look very real!
  12. I don't use gel either. Here's a few of mine: If I can do it, anyone can do it! Good luck!!
  13. I sell mine for a dollar an oz.
  14. I just got my order from Becky yesterday! Included were the following samples: Reindeer Retreat- smells like a heavenly forest blend with something else that I can't quite describe-I LOVE IT oob and can't wait to try it in wax!! Amazing Apple Pie- smells great oob Pumpkin Vanilla Creme- Wow, again oob this one smells scrumptious! Christmas Wish- YK type- smells great oob
  15. I'd suggest buying a wick kit. It'd be cheaper for you in the long run, plus you will have several different sizes in case you want to try different containers. They come in several different types (cd, htp,...) with multiple wicks of all different sizes. Good luck! I've never tried the votives or tealights in ez soy.
  16. I do agree Henry, I think it's alot more complex than a straight pine scent-even just smelling it oob. I can't wait to try this one in wax though..just got a little carried away when I smelled this one, LOL!
  17. Also JS's Pine Forest/Christmas Tree is knock you down strong in 100% soy! OH MY!
  18. Just wanted to add that I got a sample of CandleScience Mistletoe and is REALLY GREAT too!
  19. OH JOY! I just recieved some yesterday from CS (along with 1000 wicks of a certain size). I just checked and mine's also dated 9-02-06. I'm not going to dip into it until I use up the last bit of what's sitting here though. Thanks for the warning, I have all these wicks and now I probably won't be able to use them. Back to the drawing board!
  20. Those are excellent, I love the colors! Rustics are becoming my all time favorites, to look at and to burn. Great job!
