  9. These are absolutely stunning. Thanks for the tip. I wonder if a syringe would work - one with the large eye needle like a meat tenderizer. My gold swirl blended and turned out to be a vague yellow line. :rolleyes2 Do you find that the gold is left on everything after using the bar? I don't mind a gold shower, but somedays I don't want me to glitter. Digit

  16. From my notes, not experience, I have 1/2 to 2 oz to 16 oz oil or 1/2t to 1 oz. How percise is that? :rolleyes2 I think it really depends on the color and depth you want. They few times I used micas or powders, I took about 1t of oil and mixed it. Then added some soap from pot, mixed it, then added back to the pot. Some of the more experienced soapers will be by soon. 17. Thank you CareBear, there IS hope at the end of the tunnel for me after all. :smiley2: For a moment I wondered how you knew exactly what I have been doing. Digit
  18. I have them, but have not used them. In my notes, I referenced this thread for use: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70542 I do have it on the list this week. Digit
  19. I was a baker for years and used this often for constructing and decorating gingerbread houses. I have a few tips on using it if you are not familiar with it. Make sure that your utensils are totally free of any oils and butters or it won't whip up. If you have any left over, do not store it in a plastic container as the oils will break it down. I usually used parchment paper for a decorating bag instead of the reusable ones. It dries hard as cement. Never thought to use it in the bath. Thanks for the idea! :smiley2: Digit
