i was thinking sweet sugar, sugar high, pink panther (lol), sweet pink, sweet as sin.

mainly ng but also mc, berts, cs, c&s, wsp, ss

im sure it can be saved with hp'ing it. this was the first i soaped a floral because i have heard horror stories. but it gives me more experience having it happen. hopefully i only have it happen once lmao

well it is still yellow it hasent changed to white yet. and the tops are pretty mushy wil oil seeping. so i think i will hp it tomorrow.

i know for molds you measure it and then multiply W x H x L x 0.4 walmart has these big burgundy colored bowls in the houseware section. mine i can find in with the baking dishes and pyrex containers. they are i think 1.50 each. but they are pretty thick plastic. that is what i use to mix up my soap batches. even a 4 pound batch i have about 5 inches to the top of the bowl or more. is that what you are meaning ? you could always take your big bowl you have and measure out 48 ounces of water (3lb) and pour in your bowl and see if its big enough ?

in my opinion, if its not broke dont try to fix it lol. unless customers start complaining that the candles are too strong then i wouldnt worry about it ( maybe start testing at 6% ) i love my candles strong. thats the biggest thing i look for in candles.

i LOVE my throw i get from the 415! one candle can fill my whole house with scent. that being said its a one level house and not that big lol. the only paraffin candles i have ever burned are yankme and the cheapo ones from stores. i could barely smell them in the same room. but when i decided to start making them, i decided on soy mainly because it was cheaper and i ended up liking it. i have some kick butt scents that are cured and ready in one day and others that can take a week or more to cure to get a good scent throw. some oils i barely can get a throw out of.

ok this is a pic of last nights riced batch. the other pics are of my second batch last night, i left it in the freezer over night to avoid the gel since gelling doesnt like me. i should have left it out for a couple hours before i cut it its frozen in the center and one bar once i cut it the top fell off lol anyways not sure what i am going to do with the batch that riced yet. hopefully it will be ok if not ill rebatch. anyways i think i am done with cp for a little while, there is a few things i want to try with hp and mp so that will keep me busy for awhile.

i kept stick blending it and as i blended it would go back to liquid as soon as i would stop it would rice again. i kept doing that but it started getting thicker quick. so i plopped it in the mold. man oh man why did i decide to do another batch of cp ?? now i am really liking the hp more lmao

so i decided i would make another batch of cp tonight. i decided to use berries and lillies fo. so all is good melted my oils, added my lye and blended. after a few minutes i added my fo. as soon as i started stick blending it started to look like i added rice to my batch. i started stick blending like mad and it seemed to go away as soon as i stopped it would rice up again. so i hurried up and mixed my colors and dumped the batter into the mold and added my colors which was pretty chunky by then. and threw the mold in the fridge. will this be ok or would i have to rebatch it ? this is only my 3rd cp batch so i have never had this happen before and dont really know what i should do or what i should have done.

your welcome! i have often thought about renaming oils. but then i know how i am i would rename them and then forget which ones they really are lol. i have a horrible memory. and i often lose my notes lol

i actually like the name berries and lillies. lol but i know gloria also calls it berry blossom or blossom berry maybe that would work better for you ? or maybe just berry lily, or lily berry. i dunno i am horrible at renaming lol

thanks everyone! the hp turned out great. now the cp soap well i dunno lol, my wax paper stuck to the top and messed up the swirls. and i got the funny looking top on the edges again looked like beads under the color. so i pretty much ended up cutting the top off lol. the swirls didnt go further than the top cuz i waited until a thick trace to pour. so next time ill pour the soap at a thin trace. i insulated the mold with a sleeping bag. but i think next time i will put it in the fridge or freezer to try to avoid the gel stage. i think that is why my tops get like that. im not sure. anyway ill take the cut pics tonight and post them.

they are scented with at the beach from gloria, and hawaiian ginger the puffs are bigger than the mini ones. they dont fit in my cupcake molds without squirming out of them. so i actually used a set of summer plastic cups i got at walmart the other day u get 4 for a dollar. im going to go and get th eking size( tall iced tea cups) and jumbo cupcake holders cuz i think those will work since they are bigger.

im going to be trying it with hp soaps. i think it would work fine with cp i have 130 puffs to play with lol. i love them they are bigger than the minis. but i got them from wsp they are surplus you get 48 for 11.75

i was bored and messin around. also pics of a chunky soap and a regular pink soap. colored with pops! sorry pics are blurry took then with hubbys cell cuz its alot quicker than my digi cam.

i have some of this and would like to try it, mine is white. from what i am reading it says it can help with dry skin. my question is when to add it to the soap ( i will be doing cphp) i am assuming at the end of the cook before molding ? also should i mix it with something so i dont have dry patches ? i was thinking about adding some goats milk to the end of my batches to, could i blend the clay in with that ?
