i read once that a tsp of dish detergent works good. and there was something else you could get ugh i cant remember what it was i think it was doctor something, im gonna have to go searching.

i have used their mp soap. the coop was the first time i have use sfic bases (still havent used them yet lol) but i used to always buy the natural goats milk and the natural shea butter from wsp. and i know other people have said they like wsps clear more than sfic cuz the sfic still has the cloudy look to it and wsp doesnt.

thanks everyone i know for my first batch i shouldnt have jumped right in on all the colors but i wanted to lol i have a question though. i took the blanket off this morning and the soap is still warm, how long must i leave it until i can unmold it ? i made it about 7 last night so it has been 14 hours. i need to figure out some kind of lid. i dont have one for this slab mold so i put some wax paper over it when i put the blanket on it to avoid the blanket getting soap on it. but the wax paper stuck to the top.

i have done hp and cpop but this is the first actual cp. i just put it to bed. the pic is crappy cuz i took it with my hubbys cell phone lol its a 4 colors swirl, raspberry pop with some black added made it a purple color, blueberry pop, grape pop and tangerine pop with black added but it turned into a poop brown lol i need to play with mixing my pops to get better colors lol and it is scented in red sedona from gloria! the hp is also scented in red sedona, colored with the pops again. the pic is pretty blurry but will take new pics when cut.

i had that problem with bcns so i tried taylored concepts they work great, i now have some of candlemakers to try. i use my wick setter to push them on, then i take popsicle sticks and push all around them. i havent had one come undone yet.

maybe call it lemon apple spice, lemon spice, or citrus spice, spicy citrus. zesty citrus i dunno not that great at names lol

i like the wildberry mouse, i have gotten it in samplers and really like the oob smell. still need to get it in wax yet. but i love love love their fresh brewed coffee. its the best coffee scent i have ever found!

hmmm so you didnt care for wsps nf one then ? i use the traditional now and was thinking about trying the nf.

the ewax i use for my body butters and body frostings. the pko flakes i will be using in my hp soap. i might use some ewax for the sugar scrubs too.

everywhere i see the polawax it says emulsifying wax beside it. wsps nf version is supposed to be make the lotions ect feel more silky and soft feel to them. their traditional is the regular ewax. im not sure what the btms is.

i have wsp's right now. i would order from some place else but i was going to order other stuff from wsp so i might as well order them again from there. instead of ordering from wsp plus another place then shipping would really suck lol wsp usually isnt too bad for me for shipping. i just ordered 96 of the 2 oz surplus jars and 48 bath puffs and my shipping was 15.01. i want another 96 jars and ewax and pko flakes and its showing my shipping at 16 something.

i would try using a regular mixer. i dont use my stick blendor for my bath and body cuz its so quick.

i see kangaroo blue wants 7.00 pp and elements 8.25 pp. mms is 7.00 pp. candlesandsupplies is 4.99 pp. i dont know what the above suppliers were priced at before and if they even increased.

damn i was going to order some at the beginning of this week, but figured i would wait until tonight to order some. it was 4.75 for the nf anf 5.00 for the traditional. now it is 5.75 for the nf and 6.00 for the traditional per pounds. did the prices go up at other suppliers ?

if a regular wax candle can be overwicked and burned too hot then i am sure a lotion candle can be the same way, if you use too big of a wick than what it needs it can reach a tempature that would be too high for the skin. im sure a lotion candle can reach 120 degrees or higher pretty darn quick when using a larger wick. anyways if i was to make these they would only be for me, no way on earth would i be comfortable selling these to people. hardly anyone pays attention to directions. hell myself included, i buy things and try them out before reading directions/instructions when it doesnt go right thats when i look at them.
