  1. Thanks CB (Happy New Year, BTW!!!) That sounds YUM! I have a customer looking for a cookie scent, she doesn't care what flavor cookie....I'll have to look and see what I have that I can throw together, maybe....
  2. That would be very cool....I am sure that could help lots of folks out...
  3. Someone asked in the other thread about her Front Porch; I'd be interested in hearing about that one, and also about her Old Fashioned Sugar Cookie... Does anyone mix this w/ anything else? I use 50/50...thanks!
  4. I'll be pouring it soon into 50/50 (I'm not sure what kind of wax the 4794 is that you're using) with zincs and I'll let you know how it does... P.S. sorry to hijack :tiptoe: ...back to hearing what everyone's enjoying smelling up their houses with! lol!
  5. I would do a search. A few folks have gotten their sale oils lately and had luck with most of them as I recall...
  6. How's that Mint Angel throwing for ya?
  7. Vanilla Extract from BCN, and Glade Glistening Snow type from JS... that was all day, just put those out and am ready to light a few new ones...
  8. Witches Brew Most florals (except Sweet Pea, I like that one)
  9. I have sent/rec'd sniffies both ways...
  10. Good thread! Glad you brought it back for those of us who missed it first time around!
  11. I posted about this a little while ago, and have been on a vanilla quest, along with lots of other folks, for a long time...as long as I've been doing this!!! lol! I get very turned off by the artificial smell that you seem to get from a lot of them oob, and most of the time, to my nose, I STILL get that initial tinge of artificial with the cold throw of these... Right now I am testing BCN's Vanilla Extract. I have had a sample sitting around for quite awhile, and remembered that I thought it was pretty darn good oob, so poured it last night in my 50/50. I will post my results...
  12. Wanted to post a review on Bert's Apple Dumpling-WOW! STRONG throw at 8%, 1 day cure, 50/50 wax, zinc wicks!!! Smells like a good apple pie!
  13. Hi Maggie, I did get a few lbs. of the CBL 130 from a fellow CT-er, a while back, but didn't get good results. I was using the CD wicks, maybe that's why. Believe it or not, it is cheaper for me to get the Para/soy from KY. Candlewic is not that close to me. I could try and get my husband to make the trip if his business takes him that way, but other than that, it's a pretty long drive for us. I am glad you are doing well so far w/ it! Happy testing!
  14. I believe it is listed as her para/soy container blend. I know what you mean, some of us "small potatos" folks, like myself, may just get priced out one of these days...:undecided
  15. I am also testing the KY 50/50, and am having good results so far. The price and shipping are easier on my wallet compared to Farmhouse w/ the price increase (I have to have them both shipped, unfortunately...) although I used Farmhouse's for a while and had great results with it. With Farmhouse I used CD wicks, but these seem too hot for the KY so I am using zincs at lsbennis' rec. I have to say it burns VERY cleanly, which is nice, even though you can get huge 'shrooms w/ extra long burns...I am trying to cut back on FO load to see if it might help with the 'shrooms... but the throw has been very good!
  16. Brenda- Does it have that artificial vanilla smell, in your opinion?
  17. I couldn't get a throw from Vanilla Smoothie either in my wax...
  18. I just bought samples of her Coconut Cream Pie, and Grandmother's Toddy~~~OMG! The CC PIe is YUM!!!!!!! I am NOT a huge coconut fan at all, but this oil is so bakery, buttery, creamy, just delicious! I hurried it into a jar to test, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed...then I want to try it mixed with that Orange Chiffon or whatever that other oil was that some of you folks mixed it with, that is a must try... AND the Grandmother's Toddy is good too, poured that into tarts, very nice!!
  19. This was one of the first of Bert's that I poured, a VERY nice scent, and you're right, the melon is predominant, to me, and a strong thrower!
  20. Hey, Off the fish scent-ewww-back to the Glade Glistening Snow oil from JS lol! Just wanted to post that results so far are very nice with this oil, good throw already 48-72 hrs. cure, KY 50/50 zinc wick...I haven't smelled Glade's scent, so I can't comment on how close of a dupe this is, but I CAN say that I like Becky's version very much!!
  21. That looks realy cool! I'd like to give that a try sometime!!!
